This is the bridge in "Ramdi" and is over the Kaligandaki River. This river separates Palpa and Syangja at the point. If you pass along the river a little more, you will get in "Kaligandaki A Jalbidhut Pariyojana" in Balam-beltari.

I recently had a very big bad experience. Its my Joi (brother-in-law) who decieved my mother and took 10 lakh rupees, keeping our house in the bank (dharauti) and has started a business in Ktahmandu. He was not given any penny from his side of the family and he didn't even let my mom consult with me and my bro (both of us r in UK).

This is how cheated my mom:

I have two mother, sister he got married was my step sister. But we are still one family ( but live in seperate house) and our brother and sister relation is like a real own blood relationship. First, he spoke to my dad who is disabled (Paralysed) that he want to do a business and he needs about million rupees. He even tried for America, Japan and UK several times but did not succeed. My siter kept calling her mom (my step mom) and cried and ask her to pursue dad to lend money. My dad didn't had that much money on hand so he rejected. Afterwards, they played a game and my bro-in-law told my dad that he will be getting his angsa (will) from his dad soon and he will sell that and return the money. Dad again rejected saying he doesnot have that much money, at this time he gave the suggestiion of keeping my house, where my mom was living, in the finance company and borrow some money and once he sell his will from his dad that he will transfer the dhito (mortgage) in to his name. He even guaranteed that it will be done with in 3 months. Here my dad agreed, thinking afterall it will be good for his own daughters future. The house is in my mom's name, he (joi) went to my moms house, took picture from four corners, He even asked my mon to smile and took a passport size photo for the bank deeds. Until this time my mom didn't have a clue what was happening. So one fine morning, my dad phoned mom and ask her to get down to finance company. there were people waiting for mom and all the paperwork were all ready, just to be signed by mom. Here mom asked dad what is happening, my Joi said that he is borrowing 1 million form the bank which he will return with in three months and the house she is living is mortgaged. Here she rejected and ask him to call us here in the UK, he said to mom that lets not give unnecessary hassle/stree to them as this will be transferred to his name with in few months. Mom said she can't do this without asking us in UK as the house was built from their hard work. But finally she was pursuaded to sign the paperwork and ask her to seal her mouth from telling us. Now she is a legal borrower (rini) of the loan amount totaling 1 million rupee of which she hasn't seen a penny. 

My mom came to UK June this year and told us the whole story and we were shocked like anything. We have worked so hard all this time and saved bit of money to build a house back home. Now one Syangjali has played all this game and borrowed money from that house and he is running a business in Kathmandu. I am speechless and helpless to do anything. It has been over 10 months now. Sometime finance company calls mom for not paying the monthly installment. My mom is a leagal borrower and if she does not pay the installment on time, the house will go on Lilaam. (auction).

This house is worth ovcer 10 million rupees. So I will not let this happen at any cost, rather, I will pay the balance and clear the house

This is a true story of hiding your thumb but its a shame my mom would had to hide her whole face (body) from taking picture if she knew what was happening in first place.

All syngjali are not bad but who are bad are real bad. Be aware.
