I love Pokhara and everytime I am there I really enjoy it. These are some cool pics of the valley. Since the time one of my friends showed me the indentation of lateral view of slightly recoiled tiger in the top portion of Mt. Machhapuchhre, I always tend to see that tiger everytime I catch a glimpse of this spectacular peak. And, I should say this has always attenuated my knack to enjoy the asthetic view of Machhapuchhre as a whole. Anyway this range leaves me, if not all, dumbfounded everytime I am in Pokhara.

A zillion thanks for all the contributors.

Riten bro, I am sometimes left to wonder what makes Jayamatadi so tickily moody. Perhaps. these are the states of mind. Let us defend his right to lunacy though. Infact, any body's right.

New pics are rolling again. Please enjoy.

The playfulness of nature. Is it a sky with ripples of cloud or the reflection of Lake Fewa on Pokhreli sky. It happens only in Pokhara.

Along the slopes of Bahun Danda
I watch the early soft sunrise
I have never seen nature so supine
Its galore catches me by surprise
Waves roll gently to the shore
Their sound is a lullaby

A twist to the Poem of T. Young

I love the quietude of dawn
Before the sun's completely up
I rub my eyes and give a yawn
And fill once more my coffee cup.

Behind the golden western hills
The sun goes down, a founder'd bark,
Only a mighty sadness fills
The silence of the dark.

The sun of my great joy goes down,
Against the paling heights afar,
Gleams out like some glad angel's crown,
A yellow evening star;

Stillness soars as a mountain peak,
Seeking its greatness in height.
Movement stops in a silent lake,
Seeking in depth its limit.

- excerpts from Stillness by Tagore
