So now who did attend the Darj reunion during ANA?
Samsara..i bet you were there alongwith Harkay.I know a few who did attend but no one has provided any feedback regarding it nor any pics have been posted (or have they???)
Would love to hear how it went and Suna di hope u have fun out there (which i know i've been missing since the past 2 yrs :( ) . I just fell in love with that place...

As posted in one of my earlier emails, my NY team had 2 soccer matches that day and when the event took place I was at bruch (imagine how late it was)!! I spoke to harkay and he said the turnout was decent but only one SP guy from SF showed up...They surely missed the one and only Samsara fo sure!! LOL

Yup. Will be leaving in a few...working long hours these days (thanks to the time spent on sajha). Yeah, the guy from SF I was told is referred to as the "Nepali Trump" by the SF area Neps, so you may know him. LOL

Real sorry that I missed it too (but priorities)...However, hope that we all could make it next year.

Samsara bro le ta dhoka diyo ni ho ... :) Being the first Darj Reunion at ANA, it was surprising to see 20 folks. There was 4 guys from SP. Registration sheet is at home, so I wl provide more details later. Photos have been uploaded on facebook.com. Once you go there, search under 'Events' and enter search word 'Dazzling' to see some pics.

Hey there Harkay...first of all let me commend you for all that you did to make this 'happen' and it did!! Kudos to you for your effort.
Saw the pics.. wished i was there... but then i wasn't - so it just became a wishful thinking.
However a lil more publicity might have helped to see a bigger turn out.
Anyways the next time you have such an event- I'll take it upon myself to spread the word around and 'hopefully' get to attend it.

Yes I agree .... a lil more publicity would have been better. I was swamped with other responsibilites .. sound system/lights/djin' etc. Anyways, it was a great jump start. Next year ANA is in Baltimore so I hope Samsara and whoever is in the East Coast can take the lead and keep this Reunion alive for many more years to come.

What abt reunion for the KPG people??..like SJC??..well i guess last year's was sorta like that.

BTW, Harkay bro, forgot about the 2 Minnesota Pauiltes, but who is the 4th???? Once I see the list, I'll find out (unless the dude went there during the 60s and 70s) : )

And chuchikanchi, this is reunion is for anyone who went to any institution in the entire Darjeeling district (which as far as I heard last included Kalimpong, so SJC is in the brotherhood/sistahood too).
