Hey friends There would be a protest really in the NY city on Sept 16th. Please join us and let?s show our support to our Nepali brothers and sisters who are protesting unelected leader?s undemocratic actions. It is expected that king would be UN giving a hypocritical speech.

mR nK First of all I dun care what girja or madave or baburam say. I have one view for nepal if they are agree with that view I support otherwise I oppose them. Here are the some of slogans I have been carrying to all the protest so far I have attended. " No to Mao no to monarchy yes to republican democracy" "Hey hey ho ho time for Mao and monarchy to go" Here is my core belief why I become a supporter of Republican democracy. I believe I guess u might not Every individual is created equally ?So in 21st century it is insane to accept anyone as head of state because he/she comes from certain clan or family" That is my core belief. I dun care who is king Gyandra or paras even babu ram or pranchad or girija could be king but still I oppose monarchy system. In fact I am pro nepali I want to see all the have same shot to be head of state and serve country

AntiMoron, ITS EASIER SAID THAN DONE. I CAN SAY I WANT A FUGGIN ANARCHY SYSTEM TOO BUT WILL IT EVER HAPPEN ? IF YOU HAD EVEN A LIL BIT OF SENSE IN THAT PEICE OF SHIT YOU CARRY ON TOP OF YOUR BODY .....YOU WOULD USE IT BEFORE RUNNING YOUR DIARRHEA MOUTH. ANIL SHAHI(AKA POONTE), SO ....YOU'RE GONNA PROVIDE ANOTHER PLATFORM FOR ALL THE OPPERTUNISTS WHO ARE ALL FUGGIN CRY BABIES(Cause they are not getting their HAAT MA LAGEEYY EK). YOU ARE EDUCATED ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT IF YOU PROVIDE A PLATFORM THESE PARASITES ARE GONNA EMERGE FROM ALL WOODWORKS TO STAKE THEIR CLAIM. I UNDERSTAND YOUR RIGHT TO DEMONSTRATE ... But at the same time thsese oppertunists are going to hijack you protest and make it their own(thats what happened last time).

Gengtu, I agree the we have some kind of similarities with Tibet. But the volume of similarities we have with south is not comparable with north. Look at every variables, we are very close to India than Tibet. Before occupation Tibet didn't have democracy they have Theocracy it is also some kind of authoritian regime. Now after Chinese occupation they have communism. I am against both of kind of Tibetan system. Now tell me which Tibet you want Nepal to follow.

Anti- monarqi - you talk to much theory, have you ever tried to see practical implications? How long have you been out of Nepal? Dherai bidesh basera "Nepali naspati bhanda bideshi syau man paraye jasto chha". Even whatever defense mechanism you use, your thoughts are more leaning towards pro-Maoists! You can't differentiate what is inetrim system and what is so called democracy? You are all the time siting same way as Girija once requested Chinese leadership to go for democracy. Girija kept his mouth shut when Chinese gave him good answer. Anil Shahi - NYPD ko hauguji dekhayera King supporter lai tarsauna khojeko ki King supporter sanga afai tarseko? Democracy ko kura garne le afno borodhi kura garne lai kadar garna nasakne le ke ko democracy ko thulo kura garnu? You are least bothered about the burning issues of the country and trying to be extra popular by protetsing King's movement. I think you also liked "foreign apple", and you also failed to realize that present arrangment in Nepal is just an interim. You people are happy to see UN administered (Gora ko raj) for years rather than wait for three years (now two and half) to see result. I think you are so much influenced by Murariraj doctrine. Is he again leading your rally this time as well as he did last time?

IF Anti Monarqi had been out of nepal in usa for a long time he would have good english command... read his postings... he seems like gov't school educated, when in college participated in protest rallies all the time rather than staying in class and listening to the professor and getting education. He came from nepal just for the sake of protest in NY.. he seems to be one chamcha of some parties who came to USA to organize a rally to make KG look like a fool in the UN, thus making all of us nepalis look like asses in front of the world. my 1 cents

Well PSC Here someone told me must be my family in the USA that is why I am so vocal. In fact most of my families are in back in Nepal. I am pure gaule manche. My family lives outside Ktm. So I can say I have seen real Nepal better. I know what is going on. Well panchayat was forced on us saying it was practical system now you could see what panchayat did to Nepal. Every thing comes in theory first. And democracy is not just a theory it has been practical most of the other countries. I agree with those who say no system is perfect including democracy. But democracy is the more perfect among the imperfect systems. Why people are having hard time to understand I dun have to be Mao to support Republican state and I dun have to support corrupt monarchy system to oppose killer Mao. I NEVER SUPPORT ONE PARTY SYSTEM NEITHER I SUPPORT MONARCHY SYSTEM.

anti, Please tell me how you will bring the democracy?? There is no second argument that democracy in not the best. Thats the best there is. But how will you bring democracy?? We cannot just ignore the maoists and king. The corrupt leaders are no use. Now it seems there is inter party rebelion which is good. Let the strong leaders come forward and end these corrupt leaders. Then we can talk about bringing back democracy.

AM- then why you are opposing interim system which is in place in Nepal? Why do we need to follow the system that is suitable for other countries? Why you forget NASPATI and preferred SYAU after coming to the USA? have you ever asked your family members back home that what is their first priority at present? If not you please ask them. I am sure they will prefer PEACE (unless they are aligned actively with any of the political parties). What I am telling you is that we must focus our efforts to main problem first. Abolishing monarchy will not solve the problem in any case, the problem will rather escalate more.

Psc Yes I talk with my family time to time. I see them fearful when they talk with me because they know my view. The point is peace with fear is more danger then anything. I have heard Mao control area has peace. That doesn?t mean Maoist is better. My family want the same right I have there too. My family wants money to go poor and disable people then one family who himself very rich. My family wants to right to self determination. My family wants to choose their head of state. And my family think monarchy system is morally corrupted where one family consider better then other

Narhari-jee and Gagan-jee are only exapmples here. The point is, calls for democracy in Nepal is not as entirely alien or foreign as you have tried to portray them to be. There are intellectuals, scholars, and other members of the Nepali civil society, even WITHIN Nepal itself, who are calling for democracy in Nepal. त्यस्तै कुरा गर्ने हो भने त, बिदेशमा राजाका समर्थकहरु पनि थुप्रै छन्। ऊनिहरुलाई पनि ?foreign perspective? भनेर घोक्र्याउने त? Let us not even go there. Yes, PEACE is what we ALL want in Nepal. But immediate and temporary peace, or "coerced peace" is NOT what we need. Lasting and sustainable peace is ONLY viable through strengthened democracy. Emboldening of the absolute monarchy in Nepal is NOT going to herald lasting peace and stability in Nepal, because the former has been the root of instability in Nepal, by adhering to feudalistic and exclusive policies, by marginalizing the rights of, and denying privileges to, majority of the Nepalis. More on this later if and when I have time, for I am frankly tired of lengthy discussions on this. Your idea of UNITY does not conform with mine. एकबद्धताको नाममा राजासँगै भीरबाट हाम फाल्ने वालामा म पर्दिन। REAL and PERILOUS divisions come NOT from our differences, but from our lack of accepting, respecting, and living with those differences. King's policies support the latter. Finally, give him a chance for 3 years? Having seen what absolutism has done to Nepal in the past 200+years, sorry, I am NOT willing to do so. We need not even dig that deep into history to understand Nepali monarchy's ineptitude -- he has failed to build positively on hopes of many Nepalis even in the past 6 months or so. Convicted criminals and loan defaulters are members of his cabinet. Resources that are limited to begin with are being utilized to promote the privileges to the FEW, his bhaardars. Economy is further stagnated. The global village members refuge to support him. Again, limited resources to safeguard public life is being misused and targetted against genuinely people-oriented politicians, intellectuals, journalists, other members of the civil society, and against democratic institutions, INSTEAD of being fully utilized against the Maoists. The result? While democracy suffers, tyranical Maoists are being emboldened, as exemplified by the recent sad events at Pili.

Only two things should be free In Nepal unless you are disabling Nepal should provide free education up to 12th grade and Nepal should give free healthcares beside that every things need to be privatized That can be done by dismantling monarchy system, the money we spend keep monarchy system would be enough give free education to all Nepali student up to 12th grade.
