My experience was, they robbed $25 from people and insulted 1974 AD big time.

I believe it was the owner or the management from Everest Resturant. Tyo baasi momo ta hola ni Jhandai emergency janu paray ko ? Torpay harulay Baijat nai garay ni bichara 1974 AD but still they ROCKS.

 25/40 dollar for the concert of the greatest Nepali rock band is "expensive"? 

 if you know the better way to organize concert, then you should do it next time so you will know what it takes!!! What did organizer didnt do for the peoples?? they prepared everything needed for the peoples and they tried to make peace and make all people enjoy it but its just crazy people doing crazy things and talking crazy shit. Why nepali people dont appreciate one another and just like to fight one another and bring NEPALI COMMUNITY DOWN? i think nepali people should be more positive and supportive so we could move ahead as a community. Isnt it so?

Concert should be performed in hall small or big or in open space. Because people need space to dance. The sound of the instruments that  makes people feel that the concert is good. The surrounding environment also makes people feel good about it.

Restaurant is for gajals. 

Did you all ask the organizers why they did in restaurant? Better ask them first and criticize them right in front of their face. Nepalese people are full of egos.

कार्यक्रममा रमाइलो गर्न बोलाको हो कि पिडा दिन बोलाको हो केही थाहा हुँदैन । राम्रो साउन्ड सिस्टम नभए त्यो हल्ला भइहाल्यो नि के को सँगित?

हे यस्ता साँगितिक कार्यक्रम गरेर नेपालीहरुलाई कसैले नसक्ने गुण लगाउनु भएका आयोजक महानुभाव हो कृपा गरेर साउन्ड सिस्टममा ध्यान दिनु होला ...

अनि नेपाली दर्शक....... जे कुरामा पनि गुनासो... यो भएन त्यो भएन .... अझ सबभन्दा रिस उठ्ने त कसैले आफ्नो बच्चा नियन्त्रण गर्न नसक्ने... यताबाट उता उताबाट यता जता ततै बच्चै कुदिरहेका .... च्याँठिरहेका, चिच्याइरहेका ..... अगाडि सिटमा बसेको हुन्छ पछाडिको सिटको बच्चाले भुक्क लात्ती हान्छ ... बच्चाहरुलाई गाली गर्न खोजेको होइन तर बौ - आमाले तिनलाई नियन्त्रण गर्न सक्नुपर्‍यो नि .... बच्चा त बच्चा बच्चासङै ठुलाहरु पनि त्यतिकै हल्लाखल्ला गर्ने........

पोहोर एउटा नेपाली सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रममा प्रमुख अतिथी बनेका एउटा शहरको मेयरलाई यो चोटि पनि कार्यक्रममा अतिथी बन्न आग्रह गर्दा हात जोड्दै भने कृपया ममाथि रहम गर्नुस... म तपाईंहरुको कार्यक्रममा भएको त्यो हल्लाखल्ला आवाज सहन सक्दिन ....

अनि कार्य्क्रम आयोजक र दर्शक दुवैको पुरानो रोग कहिले पनि समयमा केही नगर्ने... आफु ढिला होइन्छ कि भनेर चाँडो गयो... कुर्दा कुर्दा हैरान ....

आज चाँही अलि ढुक्क छु ... नेपाली चलचित्र लुट थियटरमै लगाउन लागेका छन् .......अब थियटरवालालाई त नेपाली दर्शक आए पनि नाआए पनि बाल नै छैन नि .... अाज चाँही टाइममै फिल्म हेर्न पाईन्छ जस्तो छ

 अशली कुरा गर्नु भयो  है जेओलोजी दाजु ले l कार्यक्रम आयोजना गर्ने महानुभाव र हेर्न जानु हुने महापुरुस तथा महिला हरुले यी सबै कुरा ध्यान मा राखिदिए कति राम्रो हुने थियो होला l 

आधी गाग्रो रीडल ः ए तोरी मलाई एउटा कूरा भन त,  तोलाई मेटालीकाको कन्स्रटमा सीत्तैमा छीराएर भीत्रचै तेरो कानमा करेन्ट लगाईद्यो भने कत्तीको मज्जा आउला तँलाई ॥ ओर यू वूड स्टील बी ह्याप्पी यू गट अड्मीटेड फर फ्री । 

I was not complaining about the sound system or the band itself. I was complaining about the venue the organiers chose. There are over 50 thousand Nepali in Dallas Metro area and they picked some Indian resturant Dining hall for the concert. Usually those halls are booked for little girls birthday party with $5.99 per head dinner.  Hence, the Biryaani smell.

Shame on those organizers for insulting 1974 and their fans like that. They were not able to bring 200 people in the concert. Those marketers should " pani ma dubera mare huncha. The stage was 1 feet above the floor. The band came out and made the best out of the given situation. They rocked 200 fans there and produced the best music with the given instruments.

Let me add a little on Nepali children in public events although the subject is not relevant to the event we are discussing as there were no children in the concert. Nepali parents let their children off the lease in parties as if the dog owner is letting his pet off of lease in a dog park. Once the parents arrive at the public event, they let their children run around screaming on their own while they are busy chowing down on food, dancing, or talking to their friends. Usually, they do not even look for their children until its time to go home. May be that is just a way of raising Nepali Kids.

जे लाई पनि ठुलो इस्सु बनाएन भने त हामी नेपाली नै होइनौ कि जस्तो लाउचा मोलाई त !!!

 I can't wait to watch for todays venue that is in Oklahoma. Since i have lived there for five year and as far as i know the place they've mentioned is not a decent place for the concert. Let's see how it goes though. 

@melina_4ever: We are not complaining here about the effort and hard that the organizer did for the concert. They did a great thing by bringing the band like 1974 AD and uniting all Nepalese in one place. Kudos to their effort. But my only problem is that they shouldn't sensationalized anything by false promises. The way they've advertised seemed like they were doing a concert and Carnegie Hall or American Airline Center and they ended up doing at some khate pate restaurant which is pathetic. My frustration is towards the management, not the effort they did for this noble cause.

If they advertized the concert will be in so and so hall they should have done there as advertized. Nepalese people think just about one time business don't think of long run. Were there 200 people?
