Hello Folks,
I have a question regarding EDV Second letter. One of my fren has been selected for 2011 DV, but his case number is way back around 65000...so just asking whether there is any possibility to get the second letter.
Any information is appreciated.

DV2011 was last year. The interviews for dv2011 are over.
If your friend has won dv 2012 for which the interviews are being held right now. go to uscis.gov and take a look at visa bulletin and you can predict when 65000 will be current. I am guessing it will be current in August/September.

Guys sorry for confusion..yes it is for 2012 EDV. But my question is ,,, is there any chance getting second letter for number around 65000? what is the trend? if you guys know ....

Not that my intention is to discourage you but even with the best case Scenario (increment of 5K each month) I think it will take a lot of Prayers for 65K to be Current for DV2012. Anyway, I hope it reaches there though....GudLuck :)

Check visa bulletin. For the month of october asia is 2500. If you have filed your dsp-260, you will have your second letter by nov 2014.
