I think This guys " chalanging to Newton n Einst.n"  is talent but you have to learn tooooo much ahead.

I watched his interview on tv; he seems to be very clever; I wish him a good luck and hope he succeeds. This kid really knows how to sell whatever little knowledge he has. I hope he learns sooner that he doesn't have to claim to refute the top-notch geniuses to become the scientist except if he wishes to be limited to only nepali media and not expand on to the scientific journals.

So, he is good on marketing and  salesmanship too.  Keep up the good work.

First of all congratulations to Rajan on being selected. Chance of getting to present the papers in a NASA seminar is something we can only dream of, so kudos.

 

I haven’t seen or read his theories and thus I cannot vouch or reject his ideas. However, you have to understand that Newton’s theory has been basis of a lot of scientific advances and inventions that have proven that the theory works.  

 

As for your hill transportation theory summarized in above article, that sounds like oversimplified version of how a roped elevator works (with counter weight). I am sure there is more to the theory than what is explained above as it sounds like you would put a heavy object at the top of the hill to lift a lighter object at the bottom of the hill. However, somebody has to lift this heavy object back to the top if we want to continue with the system.  

 

This is very vague; I’d appreciate if somebody can post his theory here. I couldn’t find anything.

Without having anything published or being vetted by others in the field, the claim seems to be coming from a crackpot. People are making fun of this clown in this site...

This boy is going to be very embarrassed of his actions after a few years. He is being used by this boarding (which has money and requires some sort of advertisement to keep it afloat) and his own ego. It is not even worth  commenting.

I was wondering what difference would have it made if the porn actress was a college graduate and rich? Please do not brand me into the majority who think this idiot is a phenomenon; refer to my earlier post about what I think about this "genius".

Oh, I see your point. When I say poor student, I meant she was not a good student. She finished highschool and couldn't get into a college, and after trying some odd jobs, ended up in the porn industry.  (I once met her and talked to her before her foray into porn industry. )But by putting up her as some sort of heroine, Nepali media projected a wrong message that it was a matter of an honor to be a porn actress in the states.  

I am glad that we agree on Nepali journalism being an embarrassment.

I guess it wouldn't have made any difference whether she was college grad/dropout, or intelligent/poor student. The material was just trash and totally should not have made it into mainstream media... right?

On another note, now that you told me you had a chat with this kid, wanna tell us more about what she was like as a person? Could you have felt she had the potential to do what she did with her career?

The article is not trying to say that it is the matter of Honor to be a pron actress in states. The article is in Nepali, I understand Nepali very well.
Yes, in every field there are stars. In every gang there are stars and they are recognized by certain community (not by all).

Another thing, he was accepted for poster presentation. If he was talking totally rubbish, probably the committee would not give him the invitation for the poster. He may think that he got really new thing, but the idea might have been already tried and he is unawareof that. But, it does not hurt thinking new things.
Definitely, if I get some thing I think good one, I want to publish, or present in conference (may be it is wrong or may be it is right). So, it does not hurt trying new things, sharing ideas with some body else. This is the standard procedure. There are people of all kinds. Some try honestly,
some try  to make people fool (in all fields). Even the greatest  theories are not free from debate.
It is just like looking a color. You  may see a flower red but  a bee might be seeing it green.

I agree with you 100% that if you have a publishable material, you want to publish it. I suspect any one with any wild idea is probably able to present their posters in these conferences. Without any publications and any vetting by specialists, challenging the well established theories and scientists of our time sound pretty childish to me. But there's no surprise there. Rijan is just a child anyway, probably manipulated by publicity hungry private school that he goes to. It's the journalists that disapoint me more.
