IF YOU WERE TO WRITE OPEN LETTER TO OUR EX KING GANENDRA !! HOW WOULD YOU ELABORATE YOUR FEELINGS IN IT?About me I would ask him to spent those huge sum of money that he has got in his posession to upgrade the living standard of a common Nepali Citizen. I would want him to provide them with food clothing and shelter and education. I know he still has got abilities and resources to help Nepalese living the poverty and backwardness!!. Our country is going from bad to worst day by day and if no one of our elected Leaders makes some remarkable political change in our country then our future is uncertain. I know he has lost his charm in the heart of many Nepalese but still remains amicable and voracious personality in the heart of many . I would want him to maintain this charm that still remains stubborn in the hearts of those people. And lastly i want to suggest him that "silence is not an action"

If u are so much worried about Nepal , why don't you go there and change the Country rather than waiting for Gyane and netaharu..
Right Said 'silence is not an action'

chhimobu i believe you!! that true !! but here he is doing for the betterment of ordinary nepalese people !! and since those politicians can't do anything doesnot necessarily means he can't do ...see they have already given him the title of common person now and nothing else he is no more shree panch ! so i don't think there is any problem believe me if i was in his place i would have done exactly what i said!!

एकै हरफमा भन्ने हो भने " काम छैन बुहारी पाडाको कन्डो कन्या" किन कोट्याउनु नपर्ने कुरा कोत्याउछौ ? Come with better topic if not just do it as the proverb says.

What Nepal urgently needs right now is a a strong and stable government which may not be necessarily popular. Then comes law and order that needs to be maintained and enforced no matter whether the perpetrator is a prince or a pauper . Then comes education. Just taking from the rich and distributing to the poor, just like Robin Hood did, is not going to be sustainable. Here is a quote handed down for generations which underlines the importance of education esp. economics: “Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetimeâ€â€”Author unknown

bairagiji due to this reasons and due to this backwardness we are!! as i said earlier !!going from bad to worst ... we don't adress the real thing but we spent our time in non relavant aspects ...and idle gossiping .. ...if we educated animals start to turn our back on the real issues then believe me we not goanna go forward ..i mean that forward ..where we can call ourself self sufficient!! Ganendra's example is just a tiny aspect but there are issues more important too but if we spent our time in " काम छैन बुहारी पाडाको कन्डो कन्या"
things tell me yourself where will we be?

The Political train had stopped for Gyane once and he could not hang on to it properly so he fell off the political train once he got on. Political parties in Nepal will make the possibility of that train stopping for Gyane near to impossible. But yes Gyane can start engaging in social work such as building hospitals, schools and retirement houses for poor people to gain the public sympathy again. If he is successful people may force the train to stop for him one more time. But Shah history has proven that Shahs are not farsighted, visionary and hard working, with an exception to Prithivi Narayan Shah. But if he keeps proving himself as a people oriented Ex - King for 10 - 15 years, people might accept him as a king again. It is a known fact that political parties are going to be far less popular than what they are right now. It wont be surprising if the wish to bring KG back, given he shows attempts. Sid

8848m, You already got many thing wrong, he is not "bastard", we know his father, He is not "dead", we know where he is. He killed his own family for power, money..... you are not related to him, you just said whatever you read on 2 Rupees newspaper..The single most important thing is IF YOU KNOW ALL THESE THINGS, WHY DIDN'T YOU STAND AT THE FRONT GATE OF THE PALACE AT THE SAME DAY OF THE INCIDENT TO PROTEST WHATEVER HE DID....I CAN WRITE A LOT..I THINK SAJHA WILL WIPE ME OUT AS THEY DID TO GAY GOAT..

Raju161, Your thoughts are itself premature and emotion laden. What makes you think that he has enormous asset that's be enough to distribute to millions? Whatever the royals have, they have already said that it's in Nepal. For your information, the royals were the one who started hotel business and industries in Nepal. They did it in the past and they are still continuing what they had. I don't think, King Gyanendra needs your advice on how to gain popularity. I believe, he cares more for his responsibility rather than on what others say about him. He did what he believed to be right. He claimed the accountability for that outcome too. Time will tell whether he was right or not. But, for the time sake, stop dragging him to unnecessary controversy. At least, let him live in peace.....

raju, a phrase for the wise: please watch your language and your level of sarcasm. appears you are relatively new in sajha. bairagi bro and others whom you are quite sarcastic about, have been around here for more than you can imagine. and after you are here for a while, the 'jalwa' of being a fish fades away. it is wise to use your summertime in creating such informative threads, posting good articles and asking public opinion. and i thank you for them. but if you are the mom of the thread, doesn't mean you don't maintain the standard of your own posts.
