I think we should work together on our national issue.

What the hell is going on in Nepal these days. It seems within five years form now, india will occupy nepal if the same situation exist. It seems Ram Baran Yadav is good guy comparitively with other leaders from terai but VP is just an indian agent. and now, this mohter f........er Gachhedar is claiming for PM. It seems like only those people exist in Nepal these days.

Can we do somethign together?

Here is what I think we should do right now.

1) India want us to reduce Nepal army's size and maoist also want to do the same. But I think we should increase Nepal army to 500,000 personnel from current 90+ thousand. We can divide 100,000 army on each development region.

2) Form border patrol force to patrol border. Armed police force could be used to work on this issue.

3) Immediately work to get the Petrol/Diesel from China. Since China is working on their pipeline to bring Petrol/Diesel to tibet, we could request chinese government to extend the pipeline upto nepal-china border. we may  take the loan to do it for our sake.

4) STOP signing hydro project with India.  Use the internal resources to build hydro project. Substitue  cooking gas by electricity gradually. it may take some times but it is possible.

tara you dont have to worry about india occupying nepal. The only thing I'm very confident about us  Nepali is our dignity. If India or China or any other super powers tries to invade nepal, believe me, everyone from every corner will come out with Khukuri, hasiya, chulesi, whatever and fight till the last breath.

i know its easy to say but difficult to get it done. BUT, don't u think we can actually do it????????

are u still think indians are dump? they know every single nepalese may come out to fight therefore, they now want to take control over terai.  we'll know that  but we think we can't do anytihng. we can just say: "if they do that, we will see"  and the thing is we will just see.

brother we are not in 17th or 18th century to fight with khukuri and bhala. be realistic man.

what i think is, if we have the alternative for oil and gas, we really don't need to worry about dump indians. about terai, we have to  consider positively to those who believe they are nepalese and for others, send back to their motherland.

ek@l I am with you brother........ Count me in........Rai dai on another thread was also thinking along the same line as you to start a think tank and political group and so why not join hands...... Don't start start and idea and throw it all away....... Follow through and if you are really interested than I know many people in Sajha are willing to help...... Some are MadDoGG , Me, Unicornis, bish123, among other are all willing......

Now that you came up with the idea how about also talking about how we in Sajha can get involved and start something........

Thats right Nepali Hero.....Im thinking we should start a Strong Nepali International orgnization that will have millions of Nepali members like a union and are willing to help donate and even pressure Nepal to make the right choices. This organization in my Idea will start on recruiting serious members and we should focus on Ideas and projects to Help the unpriviledge of Nepal BUT also taking business and developement to Nepal no matter who is in Power. We should build an org. which is not politically, racially biased but strong enough to stand in face of powerful governments like India etc. WE JUST WANT TO DEVELOPE NEPAL VERY SIMPLE GOAL..............DEVELOPE NEPAL TO HER FULL POTENTIAL.......working with the communities and locals. I will give it my best....but we need to start somewhere. May be we can start by meeting eachother and discuss this in person one day soon and get a lawyer and start this org. small and see how it grows.............

I am with u MadDoGG bro....... We need to get more people to be involved so that we can start even at a small scale....... We can't just do nothing anymore.....

This is actually an interesting thread. And of course there is no harm in dreaming. But we should plant our feet firmly on the ground first.

The international real-politik is infact  just simple economics, but domestic politics can be tricky. If you have things to sell then you are automatically a good friend with the buyer and if you are a potential buyer then you will be wooed by all the sellers . That is international politics in simplified version, but domestic politics is complicated and in our case also ethic-less and dirty.

But we can use this to in our favour. (OUR means NEPAL loving folks who want to do something  beside posting threads). When we have the resource we can actually manipulate the internal politics in favour of nation building.

For example. lets see Maddoggs society wants to build a big hydropower project in western Nepal. Maddogg has the money but what he really needs is some politician who can decide things in his favour. and that can be tricky one , as there can be other forces who wants that project in southern plains, or is simply unwanted due to various internal political reasons( and that is not impossible in Nepal) AND here comes the think tank into play . We can simply put pressure in the right place at right time with the right facts and figures, so that we can move ahead with the project.

Well this is just an example and its still a far fetched idea, but I like to dream , and no harm in dream , right?

Right now I am more concerned with the making of constitution and I just want that constitutions should not be made under threat and intimidation.

Allrighty then.......I will keep you informed. I will need some time to start this......but if anyone starts one let me know I will join. The time for me is to takl with some of my local friends that I meet often, they are very patriotic like all of us. We might form a small group and rent an office building, register the org. legally, get a good lawyer and build a very secure website, open an account, and operate all voluntarily untill it can support a full time working officials.

IF any International Nepali Organisation is formed..i hope to send a 2 point demands to nepal government 

1)asking not to take oath in any other language than nepali

2) wear nepali national dress called daura surwal in all national/international events and in parliament.

I hope 90 % of nepalese would agree and approve this petition ...

 

WHEN DON'T U ALL COME TO THE THREAD STARTED BY RAI BRO. IT IS THE SAME ISSUE ANYWAY AND WILL MAKE EASIER FOR EVERYBODY TO FOCUS INSTEAD OF DISTRACTION.
