Rituman, Even though I do not know Mr. Silwal,  I will visit him on Monday at the hospital, and I will post the info about him.

i seriously do not understand why the Nepalese Society of Texas (NST) is not taking any initiative to help this guy. The NST is supposed to act during extreme situation like this and guide us all in ways to help him. i am truly saddened and shocked by the incompetency of the NST, its team, and its president for not being able to provide us with any update (besides saying that he's been admitted at the Parkland and if we needed to help him visit him there) and develop means like fund raising to help him.

it is a great deal of shame on the NST and its president whom I voted thinking that he would do something good for the Nepalese society. I think we people have to do initiate and do something for Silwal. Please whoever is best at it, let's open up and account and we all can contribute for his welfare. Thanks.

Let's request SAN to launch a paypal account and raise funds. Lets spread out these words across all the colelges, universities, and schools across DFW Metroples.

i was at the hospital yesterday. from what i have learned, nabaraj silwal (only 20 years old)  is currently in room 530 in parkland hospital. the tumor has been removed but the doctors are waiting to see if the tumor has spread and become brain cancer or not. the report will come after about a week. NST is trying its best to help nabaraj. one of his family member tried for visa but was rejected. i think the best thing to do right now is send him to nepal, as soon as he is capable and if there is anybody going to nepal willing to take his responsibility. god forbid if he has brain cancer, he will not live more than one year. even if he does not have brain cancer, he will not be able to do anything on his own for a very long time and he will need assistance to do anything. NST is trying its best to help nabaraj. atleast one of the members is always at the hospital with nabaraj. they are also trying to raise money. it is a brain surgery so it will be very very expensive. so please be generous.

Why don't you guys kick the president's asssss offf....tell him that his post is not only for arranging some get togethers and parties but also to help the needy people....And also why don u ask Dr. Murali who was collecting money for making temple....Telll him that its better to help needy people than to build the temple and stuff....

Hey there are about more than 1000 Nepali just in North lake and Brook Heaven....Why don't u collect at least $ 10 from them, which they gonna spend in cigaratte and beer, so that it could help Mr. Silwal.
