Does anyone knows about field ANA is going to use for soccer. Shit man...it is half of the real soccer field with little grass and holes and no soccer post. I saw in google earth at El Camino college in Los Angeles. Call them, they said they don't have soccer field. LOL paying $450 for registration and playing on shit ground and knockout. What the F.. is going on here. Is this rip off by ANA............

According to college spokeman:--There are 3 fields in college, One of them they use for college football which they won't rent to anyone and 2 rest fields are for baseball or other smaller sports activities. No soccer field for sure.....I will dig into this more.

If you're correct, then the ANA seriously needs to rethink the consequences as it is in the process of already alienating itself from the Nepali Diaspora. All together we have around 10 soccer team participate every year and each team brings about 20 people who in turn get their supporters: Friends and Families. Without soccer, the ANA risks losing a few hundred loyal attendees at next year's event. Above that, we pay $450 just to play the sport without any financial rewards except the glory of being the best Nepali team in the US (???). Even the trophies are cheap and lame. The least these organizers could do is find a decent field. If they can't do that, then why even bid to host the ANA? Yo Soccerfan, if the field is like what you mentioned, then these mofos need to be put in a line and shot point blank. They ain't gonna get away with this rip-off. Somebody Rip the Jacker, pls.

I am very serious on this as well. My good resource from LA told me its going to be bad field, worst then you think. You can call El Camino college in torrance and ANA officials of LA for clarification.

Looks like its the field on the right but the oragnizers would probably get their own goal posts as there ain't none in the pic. Hey organizers, I know yo azz or yo relatives' are reading this thread, any word on this?? You owe us all a HUGE explanation if we find out that we have to play our matches at someone's backyard.

Right ground is racing track and its width and length is much shorter then real soccer field and its round not rectangle. How come soccer can be played in that round or baseball field.

Soccerfan, our soccer pratices in previous years were at Queensborough Community college where they had the tracks outside the soccer ground. I think it may be the same here, but you're right, the width does seem a lot smaller thatn the average soccer field. I hope its not like the samll field at Dallas (where the had the 1st day matches)...The turf was great but the length and width were too small for 22 players.

And there are holes and pots on the ground. Not maintained field. We also have to sign wiaver for death or injury and there is no insurance at all. Since there will be knock out game everyone will try to play hard from first game so for me this is death trap without any cover from ANA....

Soccerfan, we're NYkers. Lets make it a death-trap for our opponents instead, aight?? Now, stop complaining and lets make sure we all unite against the organizers...A Refund and more might be necessary in this case.

We paid $400 last year to play in this field and no hassles like signing any waiver forms.

This ground is definitely not as good as last year …… it also looks smaller than original size………..take a look at this pic if these two soccer fields are of same size??…..ANA needs to find better fields……with insurance……….!!!!!! What do u al think????

ANA here is my tips ………you can divide teams into 4 groups A, B, C, D……3 teams in each group……if there is less then 12 teams……….. (there can be one group with 2 teams…you can put last year winner in this group...according to ur bye rules) …...have them play league game ………winner of each group makes to quarterfinal …….and you can have your Knock out game ….

aying $450 for registration and traveling all across america, even atlantic for one hour does not sound fun atall to me...... If ANA knows what they are doing ?????.....they can always do first round league and kock out . I am pretty sure there wont be more then 12 teams ...and three days should be enough for 15 games......Namaskar
