He was really good tonight but still sala Udit has criticised his own fellow Nepali. Coming this far he should be encouraging him. I really disagree with Udit Narayan and totally agrre with Javed Akhtar. Alisha said he was bit out of tune in the begining, Udit says in the middle and at the end and Javed says he was completely in tune through out. Three judges three different comment, who is correct? I love it when he speaks Nepali in such a stage. In USA, I see a lot of Nepali who think it is demeaning to speak in Nepali. Nepali Nepali talk in English in a lot of conferences, eventhough they are all FOBs.

In my opinion, since there will be three elimination today, it could be anyone specially when there is lot of indian people voting and they will definately vote their own town or city contestant. Prashant is meant to be from Kolkata Police and Emon, very strongest contestant, is from Kolkata as well. Most of the Bengali will be voting for him. So it would be nice just Udit say nothing about his sur even though he was out of tune just to get the support from the viewers. When coming to this stage, even a little negative comment will make voters to think again. It will not encourage (singer) him but it will dissapoint him especially when he thinks he has given his best. On the final stage like this I don't agree that negative comment will encourage any singer.
Just look at Alisha, this rock star geezer is therel today because of her, she always says nice thing to him and even dressed like him once that made a big impact on Alisha fan and voted to save him. He is the weakest contestant until today from theatre round but still in the competition. Its India man, anything can happen.
It will be nice to see Prashant performing in gala round when evreybody sings the full song.

why people always point towards udit? coz he is from madheshi community? if you also think so then a nepali can never do anything for another nepali? be positive,it depends upon you whether you vote prashant or not?but if udit says something for the improvement of prashant,there is nothing wrong in it?
I think Udit is giving all the encouragement needed to Prashant and I take all his comments as positive. He himself knows how he had to struggle his way into singing. Moreover,I would think that Deepa Gazmer Jha, with her root in Darjeeling and being a Nepali, would not want to see Prashant loose. Darjeeling, Sikkim and Calcutta Police all in Prashant fever. Dharan and Ilam are also buzzed with Prashant watching. You see all smiling faces among the faces of Dehradun Nepalis with Prashant talk and it is all over from Kumao region to Garwal and everywhere even in Pithoragarh.

Among the Nepali viewers in India, they say it is the first time they all have glued to warch the TV with friends and families after the Ramayana serial.
What a magical voice this young man is gifted with.
As someone said, "Prashant's sweet face speaks of the innocence and purity of the people in the hills".
I hope Prashant's signing career does not end with the end of the Idol. There is not much opportunity at the Calcutta Police to go further. All those who are doing wah wah should remember him to encourage to go for a formal training in singing.
A brief note on Prashant's life. In one of the interviews, I heard him say something about his father killed in an accident. I learned that the fatal accident occurred when Prashant was close to finishing his high school at St. Robert's. It changed his life and that of his family. Prashant's father in Calcutta Police and was a sole bread earner for the family back home and supporting education for children. Prashant had to quit school and he joined the police. His family is now solely dependent on him.How many other contentants had to go through all of it?
My salute to his parents who put their best efforts to put him in the path of education. It was so sweet of his mother to say, "Gorkhali ko shir ucha rakhnu parchha.." (see hijoko Kantipur).
Anyway, with his golden voice, Prashant could go places. Best of luck, Prashant. I will be watching.
