Maoist have shut down newspaper forcefully which wrote against their atrocities. Now they are even taking money from the middle class family. We have so many news against maoist in sajha these days. Maoist kiling teenagers, recruiting minors (which is clear violation of human rights), killing entreprenuer, closing many companies, extorting money from even lower and middle class families.

Despite all these threads we dont see any comment against them from loote and sajha user. In few post they come and keeps barking in favor of maoist . I dont expect any reply from them in this thread as well because they are either blinded or may be busy in multiple orgy with prachanda.

Most of the Users here are outside Nepal what difference will it make discussing this matter here?

Too much thinking and emotions involved in this matter if you are just Nepali, and if you are politicians and idolist too much corruption and power involved.

I just hope that People would wake up and fight against the tyranny of these power greedy people just like they did when the king took power in his hand.
And that there would be a freedom of speech in the country and reporters are allowed to print the truth, coz that is democracy.
Let the ordinary people decide which press to believe which not to, instead of closing them with force by these DADA / GUNDA / or MAOSIST.

Unfortunately, for a poor country like Nepal, the responsibility to develop the country lies in the hands of the rich and the elites. Some may argue, that the responsibility is that of the government. But, the government has proven to be inept in their performance again and again. It was supposed to the government’s job to assign the minimum wage, especially to companies making profits more than certain amount.

The maoist problem came up because of the social disparity. As all of us can see, there is a vast gap between the rich and the poor. In this situation, the only solution is to make the difference smaller. And that can be only achieved when the companies pay their employees a little more than what they have been paying. By paying the employees a little more, the owner of the business will be able to afford less than what he could have afforded. Okay lets say, a businessman will be able to afford 2 ropanies, instead of 3 ropanies he was going to buy for his next house. The word ‘stingy’ came to the dictionary because of nature of people who want more. Yes, it is a human nature to want more, but is wanting more in cost of hard work of poor people (by paying them miniscule wage) right? It is a moral question, really, I think for the rich folks of Nepal.

Lets say, for now, the maoist got defeated and everything that has been going on came to a halt. If the new government does not address the core problem, then the problem will arise again, maybe with the name of janamorcha, or xyz. Then what will you do?

Another one hahahaha....it's been with me for quite some time now. you open sajha tomorrow or after 3 days, there will be at least one thread dedicated to maoists and/or loote. hehe...

sorry for the pretty lame outlook that sajha might have projected to other viewers of sajha at the moment, but this guy called bidhan chalise seems to be pretty much obsessed with me, although i have iterated thousand times about my stance and why i stand by it.

hey bidhan, if you really want to discuss with me in detail, you can give me a buzz, i will explain you about my philosophy of life and maoism and how they are intertwined. i don't claim myself to be a maoist at this stage, but i won't refrain from being one, if need be.

you seem to have not understood my point about maoists revolution yet, else you won't be opening and dedicating one thread a day in my name. i will give you a homework, sorry i feel the need to mentor you at this stage. point me one goddamn conflict in the history where the rebels have given up arms before the conflict is fully resolved. check the history of south africa, guatemala or ireland for that matter.

it's a transiet stage my friend, and discrepencies are bound to happen. i am not supporting any kind of atrocities blindly, but you cannot control them and shun them down instantly without the conflict is fully resolved. i don't see the seriousness in SPA's part to resolve this issue. they still seem to be in the bargain mood with maoists. they are chickening out it seems. poor spa, don't have balls to deal with maoists. they think maoists will take over nepal and will make cambodia out of it. until they come out of this prejudice, nothing's gonna happen.

Bidhan, you're talking at surface level, whining..rather than trying to understand....in desparate attempt to prove the maoists wrong. You have not even been listening. How can you understand if you don't even listen? Do you even want to understand the root cause? And what happens in the process of revolution? How will your whining help you or me?

I bet you won't even finish reading what I've written. :D

well loote where you are getting wrong is , you tend to think war and killing of people brings revolution. Anybody with half a wit will know that war is never a solution of everything. I feel pity for the people like george bush and condoleeza rice who thinks on the same wavelength as you do.

you may say southafrica, guwatemala. but there are also countries like afganistan. compare that country of 30 years earlier and now. There are countries like sudan, srilanka, iraq where these war never seems to end. I dont blame you who have been instilled in the mind that killing of the people is the remedy because by killing the people you will never know where you gonna end up and most of the time it moves towards the worst not better. When the power of the king was thrown by the people (not by maoist although the tend to claim ) it was not by voilence. There are numerous countries which were once poverty striken but went on to develop with out a arm revolution.

and of course i dont want to hear any lecture about maoism or anything because i know what maoist are doing at the moment is so conspicously wrong that no explanation will ever cover that.

So, I agree there is a gap and disparity between the rich and the poor! please give me an example where thats not happening right now. China one of the last communist countries also has rich and the poor. Do you really believe that Maoist or the people in government are trying to put their hearts and souls into developing our country. i differ there if you do so, because they are playing games. And if they do want to develop our country so, then why do they need weapons? it has been proven that people without weapons have won on more than one occasion.

Maoist they know right now that they don't have control over their cadres. Whether Prachanda says throw your arms or not. These people have become man eaters not literally. I hope you understand. They are not going to stop drinking blood :)

you know why maoist are apprehensive of disarming before this government because they are coward. The day they give up arms they will be crush. If they have the support of general people there is no reason why they should have been so apprehensive. Deep down they know they are nothing without the guns and it is the fact.

and of course if they had the support of people then there was no need to extort money . People would have voluntarily given them all the money.

Bidhan, FYI, I do not support the war in Iraq. Bush and Condi are both, bumheads for me. Need I say more? the obvious difference is that, US, being the most powerful is trying to dominate other countries to dance on their footsteps without bringing diplomacy into context. The war in nepal is because of the poors, who have been unjustly treated and whose voices haven't been heard.

sajhauser. you are again trying to justify war. War in anyform is not justified. you talk about disparity between poor and rich and do you think by your so called war it will end.
i read in newspaper today that maoist are taking money from even poor tarkari bala in lagankhel. so go and F*** with your maoist idelogy.

I am not denying that maoist revolutions will be handicapped bigtime, if they drop gun. this is armed revolution my friend, and when people lift guns they know what that means to them.

the apprehension or fear factor that maoists have is due to the present regime (or old regime in their terminology). the spa and their leaders with the likes of girija still want monarchy to sustain, be it in the ceremonial form. i have already projected the drawbacks of having to keep monarchy (in any form, in nepal) in the other thread. it's quite obvious that maoists want republic (democratic), although if referendum gives the verdict for monarchy. the revolution for republicism can/will be pushed to future but it's inevitable.

the other thing is, it's pretty much useless at the moment to argue what maoists will/won't do if they are to come to the government in the future. you cannot judge how an apple will taste unless you take a bite out of it and taste it by yourself. However, you CAN make an educated guess of what maoists wll and wll NOT do if they come in the goverment in the future (which is quite likely at the moment). personally speaking, i don't think they will/can impose tyranny in nepal. Not because they can NOT do, but because that will lead them to downfall, which they seem to know better than you and I. So, all I am saying is have a bit more patience and let the time decide about it. it's high time the spa and them came to an agreement. monarchy and royalists are wounded and battered badly but they are not yet dead. procrastinating means giving them more time for revival, which we don't want, do we?

Claiming maoists on a different league is being judgemental hoina? Ani I have not seen the revolution yet. Revolution for me would be for the betterment of the people and the country itself. What have we gained so far? Bloodshed, economic depression, poverty, hatred, division of the country, unstable condition and what not?

Sorry for the intrusion but could not let it go. I don't claim to have knowledge about politics and such but when it comes to the matter of our identity, can't refrain myself no matter how hard I try! :)

loote bro,
why are u so much like ur supreme leader.Prachande bastar** says i could not sleep for 3 days when 38 people where killed in badarmuda.Who knows, and who cares, will those kids and all the nepalese ever come back.As he was saying that in bbc, same day his cronies killed a pregnant lady,a day after that a dalit boy was thrown off the cliff and so on...
You know brothers who ever are maoist supporters.I have been there in the villages, seen the pain of the villagers.Your leaders have done NOTHING for the poor people. In 10 years Nepal would have been way way up.There is no justification of blowing up a bus with people inside, blowing up ambulances, burning a bus with people inside. There is no excuse brother and all that for what??
It is because your leader prachanda realised that untill and unless he raises arms against the state and the people, he will never go to power. He can never win the hearts and minds of the people and to get to the power he will have to kill and make a bridge out of poor and the underpreviledged upto the singhadarbar.Thats what happened.Lie as u like, all communists are apt.at doing that but truth never hides.
Do you think it was a great job to bring busloads of children to attend to political programme in that heat? do you think it is good enough to loot property of anyone for any pretext? and what does your "expert in economy" dev gurung say....yes this is the "bhautik badi sikchya" you guys want to impart. If u dont believe me go to bbcnepali.com and listen to your leader.
I dont know how anyone can side with the killers who are responsible for the death of 13000 of us,nepalis. You guys should be so ashamed of yourself!!

Hey loote and sajahfuser..i thought you guys were going in honeymoon..and its not over until kartik...you guys came here and started bhow bhow again..hahahhaha:P

well mitra loote and mitre fuser..
do u know guys , i agree with you guys 100% + more on the desparity, inequality and all other issues..cause i know i can rationalize ..i have been to many districts of nepal than most people ..i see what u guys are saying but what i don't and will not agree with you 100% is your blind support for tyranny and the method adopted by them.

Do u think , people in sajah do not realize the problem but creating one more problem is not a solution.
I sometimes wonder are you guys educated enough..:P cause you guys talk like cadres of maoist.
ANAYLZE THE CURRENT ACTIVITIES OF MAOIST AND TELL ME WHAT EXAMPLES ARE THEY SETTING.
1] Alienating development agency (foreign)
2] Alienating Businesses (domestic)
3] Abusing human rights in lower level
4] Demonstation of Inhuman activities
5] forceful extrotion , loooting
6] Closing newspapers and daily blocking people's rights to protest
7] Dividing Nepal in the line of race
8] Openly claiming that they do not believe in democracy

Are you guys educated enough to make educated guess ??????????well..i am talking to blind and deaf people and i know;)

have you heard :" morning shows the day.." now see the morning and guess what is going to be the day
don't give me this back: "don't judge book by its cover"..cause i am reading it!!!!!!!!!!

Maoists are not some terrorists that were imported from Afghanistan or elsewhere in B.S. 2052. They were the very Nepali. In my understanding, they didn't started what they call the people's revolution just to kill people ("poor people" for who hate them). They certainly wanted to voice the majority of people that had been going through a kind of life, where they exist as human, but were not treated as human. ..those people who have been deprived from basic rights since they existed in the earth. I don't really think that thousands of people line up in war just because they like to kill and die. What I think, instead, is those people found the right platform to fight the regime that was serving only a few percentage of people. War, for those people, was not a joke or fun, but the obligation so that they can find the life where they can live a life as a human.

If somebody understands the war in very absolute terms, then s/he is choosing not to learn the truths. Same applies to the Maoist movement.

And, yes so much has happened during the war. We all know that, but we have to acknowledge that the new scenario has developed and we can hear the whispers that people will soon be given the right to decide what they want.

I think we can't afford to hate Maoist so much to go back to the life where Girija/Sher Bahadur/Madhav Nepal would be ruling Nepal as King's puppet and forever. The change is bound to come. And the distance between many poor Nepali, who have hard time to affording having a meal once a day and the people who have to eat hajmola chakki to digest food, has to be bridged and reduced.

Slackdemic
You haven't learned any lessons from revolution of russia and china...that is why you are saying all these ..high fi - big dreams ..big dreams comes true when people are dedicated ,united and change themselves ...not by changing governments!!!

You need to see the country of MAO rural parts of China to think in sense.

If you are expecting any change from maoist , i can gurantee u there will be change but not for good.NOt good for country's unity, economy, humanrights and freedom.Poor will remain poor only way to make country progress is by democractic processes not by forceful intimidation.
