It's good that he had challenge to debate about his great vision for Nepal. Nepal is probably the only country left where someone can at least try communist revolution

Pariyar died due to Maoist’s torture: Rights group

A report released by rights group has revealed that the Maoists had tortured a youth(NOTE), Kumar Pariyar(NOTE- LOW CASTE- AREN'T THEY FIGHTING FOR LOW CASTE AND POOR ?????)), to death at Handikhola of Shreebhanjyang, Kerabari.


A report released by the Human Rights Treaty Monitoring Coordination Committee (HRTMCC) said that Pariyar had died of physical torture inflicted on him by the Maoist cadres.(HUMAN RIGHTS- FAIRNESS AND EQUALITY )

The report has also criticised the Maoists’ district leaders for failing to stop the torture though it was already revealed that the Maoist cadres were carrying it out in the name of investigation.

Maoists had claimed that Pariyar, captured by Maoists on charge of theft, had died after falling from the cliff.

The report says Pariyar had not died after falling off from cliff but was beaten to death when he landed at the banks of the Hadi River. nepalnews.com pb Sep 19 06
