Hi guys, Lots of post on Cheap airfare to Nepal.
The cheapest way is to Fly to Delhi from USA and from Cosmic Air to ktm.
You can find fares for Delhi from any major airport here for about $850. And Delhi to Ktm costs NRs 10,000. abt $140. Total less than $1000.
Tell someone in Nepal to mail you Del-ktm-del ticket. EMS mailing charges about Rs 1000.
Arrive in Delhi Collect your Luggage then go to Cosmic air Counter. Pay them about Rs 2000 or so Ghus for extra luggage. You are all set.
I have done it twice.

NRs 10,000 is for Round trip Del-ktm. I forgot to mention that earlier

have u ever thought about
1. the LUGGAGE problem... "flights from/to US allows 2 pcs" and INDIA to KTM will only allow 20kg...
2. about transit... the hassle of changing terminal and staying overnight in delhi... (O:

lucky for you that u got away with Nrs 2000 i.e $4 ...

it certainly is worth it if u can pull it off...

Has anyone here sailed by ship to Hongkong and then taken a flight to KTM ?

updated:del-ktm-del is $300 and i don't think u will get a cheap ticket from US to delhi,so that u can get a roundtrip from del-ktm.it's gonna be more expensive..............

get inside suitcase of one of the traveller.. then u can get a free ride all the way to ktm.

u need 2 find.
1. person to take u with him/her as his/her luggage
2. put food in with u

I have not brought ticket from Del-ktm-Del yet. I am thinking of buying it upon arrival on Delhi airport. DO you think it is good idea to do so ?

Will you please let us know where you got the deal of $1200 to Nepal via Bangkok. The cheapest fare I found via this route is $1500 which includes the tax and visa fee for Hongkong.

Could anyone help me to find a good deal to Nepal via Bangkok or any other except Delhi? Last summer my friend travelled via Delhi and she lost one of her luggages...

Try Kali Travels. They gave a decent deal to me last time. They are more of a home-office thingy but they do a decent job...I got a deal of 1400 in December. If you are going in April, you should be able to catch it for around 1200.

Peaceland: 240-433-0110 i got my ticket thru Rajesh Ji. i flew on Qatar n paid $1400 coz it was peak season. he told me that ticket should be 'round 1200 bucks.

Contact a couple of travel agents before booking..you have to look around before buying. Talk to the peaceland too if nepasider is correct. Here is the address for kali travels...I am pretty sure they can give the best deal (at least they gave a decent deal to me in Dec)...
