Every individual has a right to express his/her opinion. Girija expressed his opinion too. There is nothing wrong. Let Nepali people decide the issue of the king through voting. Let's go democratic way! What you guys think?

Sure, election sounds good...but how can you assure that Nepalese people can really express themselves? Can it be assured that they will not be threatened to go the other way?

Its not about the confidence.its is about keeping the tradition.New changes were possible in 90s as well as now.no one is stopping parties to develop nepal except themself.I do not support king but king is not the obstacle .You guys are not understanding this. what about the history, culture and tradition associated with king ? King is not the villian he enjoys freaking lavish life but now that govt can control that it is ok to be left alone. there are too many techinical issues that would come to Nepal which might put nepal in negative direction .We all know the vision of Netas and i could not find any vision in Prachanda and maoist.it is not wise to create power vaccum. congress can exist without king but Nepal might not!

imi for me, monarchy died the day of the infamous royal family massacre. in a way it was good for us. at least it made me realise, how dumb we nepalese were to believe in an institution run by a single peron who gets that right because he is born in the freaking "shah" family. multiparty democracy (or two party democracy IDEALLY) is the only option that is best suited IF the freaking maoists are ready to take part in it with full committment. WE DON"T NEED NO KING. ENOUGH!!!! DOWN WITH A ONE MAN FREAKING BUSINESS THAT HAS SUCKED THE COUNTTRY FOR THE LAST 250 YEARS. OPEN YOUR EYES DUDE, YOU HAVE BEEN SLEEPING FOR A HELL LOT OF TIME NOW!!!!! 1 ta Nepali Loote

Girija, normally goes to Biratnagar to speak something which is a bit controversial. This time he did same thing. We should know that his statement has come immediately after his India Visit. Now let me recall one news, it said that "India has no objection in involving UN as a third party in Nepal's politics". Some news read "India gave green signal to the UN involvement in resolving Nepalese Political crisis." Aba bhanus, how much control India has over our politics? We should also remember that Indian Envoy, Karan Singh, played a significant role in getting King step backward. He might have assured King that he will not be thrown away from his throne. So, If Girija has said this after coming from India Tour then I am pretty sure that King's gonna stay in throne forever. Even Maoists are "OKAY" with it. Just wait for few days and Maoists will come as "We don't care If king stays CEREMONIAL and does not get involved in Politics. We are OKAY with it". It is what we call "Power Balance". We hate this. But it is a fact.

Loote , i understand what you are saying but let me reiterate: "Monarachy is not the only factor for the condition of Nepal. I am not loyal to monarchy but this is the way it is .look at Japan to Netherland. what can i say they are lucky bastards born in royal family. i have no symapthy for Royals but i do have some reservations of nepal heading to communist republic.I am telling you if you cannot stop them now they will by hook or crook come to power. which would put nepal into 240*2 years of darkness. I told you I didn't see any vision in part of maoist so what can you expect from them. Democractic govt is what we need and mutlitparty and thats what we got in 90s .why the govt could not perform?now there is again chance with rights of king curtailed .They have chance to show that they can develop Nepal. BUt Will they be able to? Power vaccum creates chaos and judging by the mentality of nepali .You know better.
