mickthesick , you've eclectic taste on movies! Anyways, i think 'Full Metal Jacket ' is two different movies in one pack; one during training period in US and the other in Vietnam! awesome one! still remember those dialogues- " Yes Sir!" " Bullshit, i can't hear ya maggots" " Yes Sir"... " this is your rifle and this is your friend" " this is the only pu..y u got in here" फिलिम याद आयो के :)

I think there should be a distinction, such as commercial or non-commercial movies. Because sometimes movies are good but not entertaining and sometimes they are entertaining but not good. For example, Godfather was a non commercial movie but did commercially well too, whereas LOTR was a commercial movie but also critically acclaimed, but it is a bit odd to put both movies in the same top ten catagory. Anyway, I am a movie buff, I like 100s of movies but still, here goes my top 10 (Good, entertaining, disturbing, thought provoking) movies that I can think of right now, but not in order. Dances With Wolves The Last Emperror Godfather I & II Terminator 2 Scarface Silence Of The Lambs LOTR 1 2 & 3 Oh Brother, Where art thou? Chrouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon The Untouchables.
