Meera, You are talkin' about Jagjit-Chitra song "Woh Kaagaz ki Kashti", one of their all time Hits. eh... incidently, Chitra Singh, not a great singer tho, stopped singing after her only teenage son died in a car crash. History 101 :D

iamme, do you know there are two more songs with the same tune, "Thandi hawaaye, meheka karenge" by SD burman and "Saagar Kinare dil ye pukare" by RD Burman? Actually, SD Burman composed the tune first for "thandi hawaayen" for the movie Naujawan... and Roshan borrowed it to compose "Rahen na rahen hum" and two decades later RD burman recreated the song for the movie Saagar. waah, trivia 101... ha... incidently all three songs were sung by lata mangeshkar.... waah, pugyo... !!!

When I was studying in I. Sc. I used to listen "Humhe Tumse pyaar kitna" a lot. I used to rewind it again play and again rewind it and play. After one year I completely stopped listening to this music. These days whenever I hear this music I say "Stop it, Please give me Break".

These days I listen to "Pratikshya Gara Meri Mayalu" by Deepak Kharel.....wow!!

When I was studyin' in I.Sc, I used to listen to Deepak Kharel -- Pratikshya gara meri mayalu, wah wah. I even used to gungunaaing it in front of her. One day she was like "Teri maa tokni, laati ko logni, khaali pratikshya gara matrai bhancha, garne sarne kehi hoina, aba timi pratikshya gardai garnu, ma chai laage arkai sanga -- mero tashbir le chitta bujhaunu" re... since then I stopped listening to Deepak Kharel and switched to "Sarkaailyo khattiya jaada lage, jaade mein balma pyaara lagee"
