2) What difference does it make? As long as they a.k.a maoists are not against their politcal ambitions. (That is until - dear maoists will have their way. :))

Nepalean Bro,
Don't you know that the maoists fled to jungle because they didn't get the votes? People rejected them even before they started violence. How come they will get a yes vote after seeing them committing so many many many many crimes against humanity and human values. Election called and maoists willing to participate, their own cadres wouldn't vote for them. Forget others. Their जमानत will be जफत for sure.

On a different note, linking democracy and maoists terrorism together and bitching to those who are longing for real democracy (not the one Girije is advocating), is very much akin to Tulsi Giri path. Kudos to those educated counterparts who are knowingly or unknowingly doing a rearguard action to save Gyanendra, the despot. Every consequence has reasoning, there must be a vested interest for this, unfortunately. :)
