I feel bad for those men and women who got arrested like that. But I guarantee you; most of them knew the consequences of participating in a riot like that. They knew they could end up like that when they were so naive enough to keep protesting and throwing stones at cops in the middle of the street, in stead of going home and taking care of their kids who are crying their brains out for their mom. Why do every Nepalese want to close the country (Chackka Jam) down whenever they have a disagreement with the government. Lot of times, these kinds of pictures is staged in advance. This is how a normal person gets recognition and end up becoming political figure in our Country....(By getting arrested. Major ingredients one should have in their resume to be a Neta.. Qualification & knowledge don't mean crap). If a national news paper publishes your picture getting arrested on the front page...you are an instant Neta.

Guys...we have always had the same cops...who did the same thing to communist riot when congress was in the government and they did the same thing to congress riot when communist was in the government. And it is usually the same students who keep coming down to the streets. They are the easiest tools for these netas to bring movement in the country. I wish those students have the brains of their own to think what is right for the nation and themselves. In stead of wasting time in jail and streets if they actually hit the books, our country could probably produce people like Michael dell & Bill gates...

what is visible in the picture is sad.. but why those ppl do not think about beyond the picture.. i mean.. once you do chakka jaam there would be several cases.. somebody will die not reaching hospitals in time .. and several other extreme cases... those inconveniences caused by chakka jam will not be posted as head lines.. they will not post somebody died coz the sick person did not reach the hospital due to chakka jam... rather they would post the stupidity of some silly heads like it is visible in the picture.. and maybe some papers will spice up it as a heroic act.and a brutal demolition of public right..... hahaha... see the consequences... if that person will be hit by police and instead a sick person will be saved coz he reaches the hospital in time.. because there was not chakka jam then i would rather like to hit that person twenty sticks to resume the traffic and let the ppl live.

I wanna add something more in Zara and your comments. What about the vandalism by these organizers of chhakka jam? Stones thrown at vehicles. Burning of the vehicles. Anything else defying bandhs. If you have to protest, go head protest use your rights, but do not enforce your beliefs over others. DO not inflict any harm on innocents.
