E = mc^2 This year has been marked the Eienstein year to clelbrate his 100th anniversary of Annus Mirralabis. Einstein was a brilliant man, a man who revolutioned Physics. Many physicsts would definately agree, Newton and Einstein rule the world of physics. This man's work was so powerful, that no one even dared to challenge his work for at least a decade. I will be adding more information on Eienstein and his work, on forth coming days. For now, let us enjoy Einstein year.

Dannah bro, well, sometimes i am amazed by my self that i can do so much in so much time :P tara, if i was to have a free day, like today, i just spend it doing nothing :) Sand_is_deep: yes Einstein is a perfect example of a "DA MAN". Early Life ----------- Einstein was born in Ulm Germany,on March 14, 1879. He was born to a Jew family, ( this proves jews are the most smartest ppl in the world. :P ). His ancestors and family were bussiness man and traders, what most jews did at that time. None were ever a physics or a science major.(<< i may be wrong, but as far as i know :P ) Einstein at his early age didnt show any sign of "genius-ness." Here, this is a perfect example of a man, who changed the world, by working hard. A man who was explled from school, failed the entrance exam for a school in Zurich, would be a man to change the hisotry in a decade. Einestein wasnt a bron genius, he was genius to become. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---his life in Zurich in forth coming days.

Confused bro, You left out a very important fact. He was dyslexic as a child. So, the language was backwards for him. That's why he didn't do well in school. His dyslexic retarded his development. Most geniuses show a lack of interest in school anyway.

einestein is one of the grestest scientist we ever had.not only a brilliant physicist, he was a compassionate human being.very humble,he refused to be the first president of the state of israel.never intimidated by hitler's cruel regime,he stood for the rights of millions of jews.i hope we have more people like him.

Nice to see this posting.Interesting. I think Einstein is the single most significant person of 20th century, who illuminated the scientific truths during his life time. Without Einstein, it could have been another few decades or more before another physicist worked out the concepts and mathematics of General Relativity. HAs played a great role in the invention of atomic bomb but he regreted later saying that he made a greatest mistake in his life. hope to read more :)

What can I say more about his brilliant mind..... Here are few quotes by Einstein: "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a persistent one" "The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it." "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious." "When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity." Just Brilliant....

More of his quotes He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder. another one Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love. Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it. Equations are more important to me, because politics is for the present, but an equation is something for eternity.

" He was dyslexic as a child. " brainic bro, i did leave that out in purpose. It has only been an assumption that Einstein might have been a dyslexic. As i look at his childhood, i only see a chid who was very hasitated in learning and obviously wasnt so intelligent child. But yes, i do mind missing out his love for voilin, which is started playing when he was six year old. His this voilin playing ability stayed with him, on ups and downs of his life. Like Einstein himself said, his childhood was very unimportant, so lets leave this early childhood and venture into his coming yers. Einstein At Zurich. ----------------------- before going to Zurich, Einstein was in Italy, after finishing a high school degree from Germany. His stay in Italy was probably his best stay, he himself noted, "the people of Northern Italy are the most civilized people I have ever met." It was on the year 1896, when he first gave up his german citizenship, because he did not want to attend the german military. He remained citizenless, without belonging to any country, for several yers. So after few cries from his parents, Einstein Decided to give up his love for philosophy and go get a degree in Electrical Engineering. But the problem was, he did not have a high school diploma on his hand, so it was very hard to find a university. Luckily, In Zurich there existed a university which would accept students that could pass certain tests. It is known as ETH( Eidgen?ssische Technische Hochschule). He was ready for it, postively motivated, so 16 yr old einstein dared to take the test, that was designed for 18 yrs old high school passed kids. Being a genius , he did fail and did not pass. He could not pass the entrance exam. --------------------- his life after the exam on forth coming days. Aliciaa, we have the whole yr to celebrate :P so lets control ourselves, we can have a heated disscussion on General Relativity and his equations later on, while we reach that time period of his life. NOt far :P Zalim, wonderful pictures. Seeing two Brilliant ppl together on a photograph has always facinated me. I wonder," what would they be talking about ":)

His life in SchooL in Aurau -------------------------------- After he failed the entrance examination for ETH, Einstein got enrolled in the high school at Aurau to prepare again for his entrance exam. This is where his love for physics grew even stronger. Although Einstein's genius of calculating equation cannot be credited to anybody than himself, but here he had found one of the best physic teacher, August Tuchschmid. After few years he in 1896, Einstein retook the exam he had failed, this time he passed. He was now ready to enroll in a 4 year universtiy program. ---------------------------------------------------------- his life in college in forth coming day .-----..

4 yrs graduation Program ------------------------------ Now, Einstein was enrolled and ready to fly off. His university life was as normal as a student's life could be. Einstein in his college yrs also got passion for sailing, which he had it for rest of his life. Einstein also used to be slight arrogant and careless in his college days. He use to forget his room keys several times and call the service for it. While in college his interest grew more and more on theoratical physics. Maxwell's theory,(which is big part of his Relativity Theory) did not play a big part on his physic class, so Einstein decided to study it himself. Einstein also studied work of many great Mathematicans, while in college, on his own. Many college professors were very skeptical about Einstein graduation. Many of them thought Einstein would never graduate and drop out. But at last, he did graduate with GPA of 4.9 (dont know how accurate is this number) out of 6. Everybody graduated from his class except Mileva Maric, who was to be Einstein wife years later, whom he also divorced. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Einstein's life in Pattent office and his discoveries in forth coming days.

Einstein's life in Pattent office and his discoveries ---------------------------------------------------------------- After graduation Einstein wanted to find a teaching job, but because of politics played by his teachers he could not find one. The year was 1901 and Einstein had finally belonged to some country in this world. He gained swiss citizenship. He finally found a job at Swiss Patent Office, then at that time, in his SPARE time, he started working on something extraordinary. Works that was to challenge Newton's theory and give a broader perspective of light. It was in 1905 Einstein got his Doc. Degree. Einstein's all the papers was written without any connection to the great physicts or by going to any world famous physics library. Einstein's work, which he had done in his spare time was to change the world. It came out in the leading physics journal, Annalen der Physik, in March, May, June and September. These works he presented to the physics magazine made him a celebrity,(literally) very hard for a physician to be. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brief on his works on the four paper, on forth coming days.

Einstein got Ph. D. at the age of 26, became professor around early 30s. Alicia:Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love. Neither Gravitation is important when you go to heart of an atom. There exists a force called Nuclear force, quite different from gravitation. Thats very powerful when proton, neutron are very very close and decays very fast as the distance increases. GP

gp you are right. Einstein got so involved on founding the Theory For Everything on his late years, he didnt even care to learn about Strong and Weak Nuclear Forces, infact he didnt not even know enough abt these forces. There is a theory called string theory right now, it is so radical in every perspective, it says there exists a substance called graviton(which is not yet discovered) which leaks to other layers creating the force less stronger than Electromagnetic Force. gp ko reply dekhera hattar ma reply gareko :P continuation pachi :P
