i am vanasthalion. from 3-11 grade. graduated the batch after sumnima singh

I went to Vanasthali, but long time ago, 1982-1988. Spent 6 yrs there (KG through grade 5) then went to Brihaspati till SLC.

ma pani Vanasthali padeko........ from grade 7 to 9.. got kicked out after 9..... I am 88/89 batch........... Confused what year did you go to brihaspati.... I know a few guys there Roshan Basnet, Ujjwal Adhakari, Amit Dahal (knew them in america... my protoge's)

I even came with a few fren's to beat up some guys(1st batch of slc... at that time they were in 9) due to some stupid guys rumor.......... regret beating those guys these days...

Yo Gorkhali, was in the same batch as Rosahn Basnet, if he graduated in 93, then he's the one. Anyways, had a good time fighting with 9 graders over an intra section basketball match. Used to give our principle (Anand Gurung) a really hard time cause he was almost like a midget. Used to call him Mikasa.

i attented vanasthali for 10 yrs, class 1 to 10. think i had many memorable moments....any one remember saisab kale and him saying "#@$di ko choro haru" to a class full of students??,,,,and then there was the incident with AVM....i still recall CK bam, pendulum, and ofcourse...CHUDAMANI AASPASS...

I had a major crush on Puppy miss :P Health padhaauthyo ni, eh... She used to draw vagina and penis on the board while teaching the reproductive system. eh... that was pretty exciting.. :) There was this science teacher I had huge crush with, she might be 20 something, a really good teacher, and she quit after she got married.. ... total heart broken. eh...

Pendulam kaa ta tution padhya yaar, LOL, my real GURU in math... Lot's of respect for him.. ehh.

Is it true that Deepak Rajbanshi(youngest/second son of Laxman Ranjbanshi) dumped his legally married wife, and ran away with the teacher (darjeelingi) teaching at his own school?

I know quite a few people from my batch in the US (SLC 2041). Haven't heard of the Dallas reunion though, if that's true then I will be looking forward to meet some old friends.

Dunno about Dallas Reunion and I am not going to Dallas anyway... but I had met bunch of Vanasthalians during one of the previous ANA conventions and it was a blast... it was sort of Reunion itself... so many familiar faces. :D

PuskarSamarthak, dunno much about RajBanshi and son's kartoot, but boy, senior Rajbanshi was one helluva dashing character. I might have disliked him during my school days, but when I look back now and think about him, I grow tremendous respect for him. Hot headed but dashing....

About his sons, eh, when I went to Vanasthali to get my marksheet after I passed SLC, some of my documents were not ready for some reasons. Rupak was distributing those documents and there was a long queue behind me. I thought he'd call me some other day to pick up those documents. Insted, he took out the typewriter, filled up the documents and handed it to me the same moment. I was like totally stunned. eh.

And another incident when I had to go there for something to do with the toefl few years after my SLC. Junge paale dai (remember him? eh) was there. During our school days he used to be a laathi carrying Samurai-wannabe always ready to swing his laathi over our head. That day he was so nice to me, eh... that I even joked with him about how his laathi landed on my head when I was runnin' to get the best seat on the bus. After that brief conversation with him, he called principals office and went to his office. Rupak was there again, eh... He was so nice to me, I thought I was dreaming. Later he even let me walk thorough the school while the classes were on session... hmmm... I was totally impressed...

Dunno if they were good or bad, I don't really care, coz it's like politics. There is always somebody out there trying to "Bhandafor" others. I had nothing to do with them, unless I needed some papers signed or something from the head of the school. About the teachers, oh yes of course I'd love to talk about them... coz we had to deal with them everyday for freakin' whole year.

Remember AAMA miss? Agriculture padhauthyo... eh. She used to read notes and we had to note them down like crazy. Those who could write, had the best notes. eh.

And UNDP miss.. :P, she had some kinda fascination for St. Mary's. She bragged about st. mary's so much that I literally hated St. Mary's. (ooooh, No hard feeling St. Mary's Ladies, eh... that hatred lasted for like 2 days only... hehe.) ... And (forgot his name) BAM married her (or they were married before)... eh.. something....
