is there any benefit from re registering for TPS (i-821), if all three documents were current until 2018.

I think it will cost $50 extra for i-821, is there anyone who has submitted i821 this year with a good reason? 

You require a valid documentation for each of the above application. Otherwise it’s impossible.

I don't think you need to re-register if you had already re-registered in the re-registration period. Since then TPS has been automatically extended. Just make sure you include copies of the initial and re-registration approval notices while applying for EAD and AP to show your continuous TPS maintenance.

You do not need to re-register if your TPS approval notice has an expiration date of 06/24/2018. You can file for an EAD and parole document with your original TPS notice along with the new federal register notice.

As per getting State ID, yes you can in fact use your old TPS notice (with attached i-94) and the automatic extension notice to renew or get a new State ID. Valid i-94(with automatic extension notice) and your passport are enough to establish your legal status. You may need to ask for a supervisor if the DMV employee isn't sure.

@Sanaklaal. Yes I have renewed by driver's license at the Dmv before with my initial and re-registration approval notices and also a copy of the federal register with the new extension dates. It is a hassle since not all DMV employees know about TPS and federal register notices. I don't know why I need to be high or on drugs to answer that 😕

How the fuck am I suppose to know where you live ?? . My state doesn’t offer you to renew driver license with the expired tps and whatever the register says. Show proper documents other wise it will be rejected .

You don’t have to reappy for tps. I applied for ead and travel permit last time and i did the same this last month. I’ve been renewing my driver license with expired ead and old Notice of Action I-797. You can show them the Federal Registar Notice or ask them to perform SAVE verification if they hesitate but yea you should be fine.

Clearly it says that your notice is automatically extended if your TPS has that expiry date so no need to reapply . You already have TPS.

Don’t listen to this guy galactus. You need a valid tps . Uscis will send you the new tps that expired in 12/30/2022. It will be high risk if you travel with expired document. His assumptions of knowing people who have travelled are just just a imaginary . He doesn’t know who has done that . He just want to bring some figure to scare you . Stay away with these kind of people keto and lucky nepali .

You are so stupid man. You don’t travel with TPS documents . The only way to travel on TPS is with an advance parole document which USCIS will only issue if you have a valid TPS.
