No need to attach any explanation letters. Also no need to explain why. Just state your are going to visit your family, friends or relatives. Or, you can state you want to go for a vacation or it is your religious tour. I did that when I had applied for AP and it just worked.

Better to add an explanation letter cause it depends on who processes your case!! Better to be safe than sorry

Relax and travel. I’m traveling on January and return on first week of March on TPS advance Prole. Last year I return on 21st of June and there was no any issue at POE in JFK airport.

Thanks, I have never traveled on advance parole and am working in green card, so kinda nervous about risking it. But I guess you are right, no risk no reward.

Pyackman: I just travelled on AP. I went to nepal via India during tihar. Only question asked to me was only in India, since most people working there don’t know much about the AP and immigration. In USA they don’t even ask you any question, depending on POE mine was DFW. They will take you to another room for secondary inspection which might take some time depending on people working and ahead of you. Beside that no problem at all. There are risks for sure but no risk no reward.

hmm....Its been a couple days and no movement at all. EAD that I applied for in May still has no movement after receipt. Getting fucked in the ass by USCIS.

If u can show any documents which shows you have some kind of emergency, like, medical emergency, you can take that with the receipt of AP and your TPS approval document to the nearest uscis field office and ask them to get you ap based on humanitarian reason, they have the provision to print you ap on the same day. There were several past sajha post where people talked about that and got AP.

Hello all, I am on TPS and wanted to apply for AP . I was wondering if you guys could share this list of document needed to apply. I was looking at Uscis’s website last night and i kinda have an idea , but just wanted to double check before i submit my application. Also, how much is the application fee? $575 ,right? No biometrics? Or do we still have to pay for that. Thanks !
