I am starting this thread to know where the TPS application is going and how long is it taking to get approved. If you go to USCIS processing time for nebraska, first of all , TPS is not even in the list (i-821) and second of all the dates are so out of date and updated every 1.5 months or 2. So just creating this thread to get a live tracking based upon others application and approval date. Hope others will help.

My case:
Application received: Dec 11 2015 (TPS only)
Bio metrics date: Jan 12 2016
TPS: Not yet approved

I had my fingerprint done on Dec 4th and waiting on EAD.
Typically how long will it take EAD to approve/arrive after fingerprint? My old OPT will expire on feb 1 so am little tensed. Anyone has any inputs? USCIS Nebraska. Thanks.

Application received by USCIS: Oct 27
Bio-metric done: Nov 30
TPS status: Fingerprint Fee Was Received on Nov 4
EAD Status: Case Is F**KING Pending at a Local Office

Application received: Aug 20 2015 (TPS only)
Bio metrics date: Sept 19 2015
TPS: Pending

Normal time these days is about 6 months for TPS approval.

Even weirder is that saku maku's application was received 12 days after damauli_guy's, and yet his application got through earlier. WTF USCIS. Perfect beauracratic bullshit.

Those who filed using 2D barcode form got their approvals faster in my opinion.

Where is 2d bar code form? Isn't it i-821 application tou find online?

Depending on the type of web browser and version of acrobat, sometimes the pdf form doesn't support 2b barcode. When you filled i-821 on computer, there is a huge barcode in a rectangular box at the bottom of each page that changes as you type in the required fields. USCIS then scans this barcode and all your info will be automatically populated in their databases, hence faster processing.

Has anyone applied Advance Parole and got approved? Has anyone traveled and came back? If yes then could you please tell me following things:
1. What kind of evidence/proof you submitted for the reason to request AP?
2. Do you have to go for biometrics again?
3. What are the time frame to get AP approved?
4. What kind of questions you faced at port of entry ?
5. What was the validity period of the AP?
6. Did they ask you about your previous status or F1 documents as well?

This happens If u or ur lawyer sent a request for correction to the error on the spelling of your name printed on notice of receipt letter.

Nope, I haven't sent anything. This is the most recent update to the case 3 weeks after the finger print was taken.

Same status on my roommate's case. He did not change/request name change. He asked me if there was any mail for him from USCIS that he may have missed. He is also confused.
Anyone else have the "Updated your Name " status??
