The use of your words shows anger is controlling your mind right now. When there is cloud in the sky, you can't see the sun. Annamayakosa, Pranamayakosha, Manomayakosha, Vigyanmayakosha, and Anandamayakosha are 5 mental sheaths that veils the supreme truth which is within you. Buddha with his self-effort went beyond these 5 mental sheaths and found that the world is nothing but void! In other word, he saw the reality as it is. This world is merely a mental imagination. It is unreal in a sense that it is merely an idea in the infinite consciousness. When mind stops, reality shines within you. Be at peace.

It's a shame that few people, for a small bit of internet attention, drag down the names of the great ones. Good thing, it doesn't affect the fame of the great ones a bit.

 Shouldn't we just be happy that he was born? Why does it matter where was he born? Did it matter where Mother Teressa was born?? or did it ever make diffrence where that con dude "Sai Baba" was born? 

Does it matter where Buddha was born? Why, yes it does matter.
If it didn't, why would you think both countries are adamant about his birth claims? Lumbini has a huge potential to become a pilgrimage destination for millions of Budhists. This directly translates to tourism and possibly billions of revenues.

Sure, if we start fighting in the name if Buddha, then that pilgrimage dream will never be realized, but don't tell me it doesn't matter. I just won't keep making fuss about it every time a no name celebrity opens his/her mouth about this issue.

I am not sure Budha was coward or not but i am pretty sure Budha was one of the most selfish and anarchist person ever born. Being born a Royal prince, got all the pleasure from country resources. When he fed up of those pleasures then he truned to others means so called meditation leaving all the then social, family and national values for his own personal bliss. Remember when you do not obey your social, family and nationalistic values, how much critisizm you get. In many cases you will be outcasted or even put into death. At that time, Shidharth Gautam was not outcasted or killed dispite he being biggest crook, uncaring and selfish. People of the time must have been kind and thanks Maoists were not born yet. All most all the people of that time perhaps were suffering from their own conflict, constant conformity to some social values along with some passing joys. Instead of sharing pain, sorrow and passing joys he left society for something which he even did not know is undeniable proof of his utter selfishness. How come he imagined to be liberated alone and get something emense only for himslef ? Is not it selfish activities?

If any of you idiots have read the Jatak tales (past live of the Buddha), you will know that his wife and him made an agreement in a past life before his Buddha live to separate when he would seek enlightenment.

OZI, its  been 2500 yeas many people trying to follow the Budha, furtunately nobody got success so far. So following Budha or any body is unfortunate and full of ignorence which only leads to supercficial adjustment making mind dull and shallow devoide of essense of life.
