Recently, I have been exploring some options to start a small IT business in Nepal. I am not sure how plausible would that be but my objective is to initiate an outsourcing business.

 hellCoder!! It would have been definitely a provocative idea , if it was few years back. But getting IT project is not  a piece of cake anymore. On top of that, hamara mitra rastra ka janta ne sab kuch bigardiya hey. Still I am pretty sure we can achieve hand to mouth wih it, but I would not consider it as a massive profit gaining business.

you are absolutely right that achieving projects to outsource is not an easy task. I just had informal talking with some medium level vendors in US, and they look very interested. Currently, I am designing some power point slides to demonstrate the ideas and ROI (return on investment). I am aware that initial phase won't be profit making phase for sure. It takes some time and patience to reach there, and I am willing to do that.
karkli, are you currently in US or Nepal?

 OK , if u would consider I am up for this... Not blowing my own trumpet, but I have a pretty good verbal communication skill, especially with the accent and everything. And this has been my dream work too. Was kind of intimidated about the loss, but was seriously waiting for companionship and initiation. And I can gather folks back home, which I am pretty sure u have plans for it already too but just in case u know..
