Not at all. It won't be a clever decision to buy this car in 6K. If i were you, i would pay not more than 4K for this car, or may 4500 at the max.

One thing to remember when buying this kind of cart is that even through the engine is new all the other parts are old. Links struts transmission are
costly repairs. Also dont look at the looks of car. Make sure of the internsls first.

Bad Deal $4000-$4500 MAX. You wont get that in $3000 because its not COROLLA. I wouldn't compare COROLLA with ACCORD

Ram Kumari,
The Honda Accord is not a good deal especially 12 year old car with about 130K milage. Let me just tell you, It was early 2007, I bought 2000 Nissan Altima, Not Fully loaded but Perfect condition, only 53,000 miles, delear reconditioned from dealer for 6,500.
That car is no longer with me, but it was only 7-8 yrs old and had only 53,000 miles.
I know used car price has gone up recently especially on economic cars but still, I would definitely go with Honda or Toyota but rather lower milage and slightly newer model than with Older High Milage Fully loaded.
**I drive 2010 Corolla.

Car price depends on the location and also the car history. I don't think you can get that car in less than $5000.00 if it is from dealer and it is in good condition like you mentioned. But if it is from private party then you could bargain more and price could go down. But since the gas price is so high why don't you go for the economy car. Just a thought.

Check edmonds.com or kellybook for the used car price,

you will find little higher in kelly book.

As invisible said it depends where and when you buy? One of my friend was really lucky to buy 2005 camry le with 92 k miles for 6300.

Good luck and do not forget to check vin.

If you are looking for car in Craigslsit , give little extra care. Some tips.

Do not meet in privet place, ask to come to a DD or MD or BK WD  place.
Do not carry money in first meeting.
Have some friend with you and have knowledge about car, two opinons better than one.
Because all good looking car may not portrait good engine always.
Know that the audometer can be replaced easily and may not be the true mileage, have carfax check or atleast theft and loss check.
Reconstructive car may not be a bad idea but you never know the depth of damage, hard to sell in future.
If you can have a mechanic a look for peace of mind.

I wouldn't pay more than 3k for that.

If you have 4k, I'd highly suggest you to go for Hyundai. They are cheap (w/ really crappy resale value) but they are extremely fuel efficient and very reliable too. Hondas have great resale values but it is a matter of affordability. Typically, they cost more.
