Come auun dude...y m i wanna get a book about akbar. We do have enough of our own history to care 'bout.

Madhesi loves indian history rather than Nepalese one. I do not give a shit about indian history.

Interesting reading.  Unlike what we read and see about Alkbar (Jodha Akbar, Mughal-e-Azam), this book tells about negative side about Akbar.  He was not what what is portrayed in movies and  history text books.  He is perceived as an emperor who treated Hindus and Muslims equally, but in reality he butchered hundreds of thousands of Hindus in India.  Some Hindus fled to Nepal.
He married a Hindu princess which history text book describes as his friendly gesture towards Hindus, but according to this book, he actually kidnapped the Hindu princess and forced her and family into this marrage.  He killed his own mentor (who guarded and virtually raised Akbar from his childhood to his youth),  when the mentor married Akbar's cousin (Akbar was secretly in love with this cousin).  After kiling the mentor, Akbar brought mentor's wife into his herem and made her one of his concubines.  He brought wives and daughters of Hindu kings defeated in battles into his herem and forcefully made his concubines disregarding social status of those high placed queens and princesses.!

He even made Brahmin priests in Lahore kill other and thoroghly enjoyed it.

Read the book .. I scanned through quickly, but found many attrocities by Akbar on Hindus.  will read later thoroughly later ..

If you guys do not like to read about Akbar saying this is part of Indian history, so be it!
If you guys like to see Indian movies like Mughl-e-Azam or Jodha Akbar.. So be it!
If ou love to see Indian cricket .. so be it...
