Recently a gynaecologist was doing a C-section and did it so bad that the
baby inside the mother also got a C-section. I wonder what that doctor
was thinking he was doing when he cut through the baby's tommy. This is I
think an unfortunate case of height of surgery. Whoever that doctor was, I have no
personal emotion other than to say shame on him, but the case does highlights whether everyone in Nepal
should apply for a medical college first.

This case makes me think, and for me it's not a happy thought. Many
often a times, people with back-force get admitted to medical colleges
rather than ones who had the best grades. And we are talking about such profession as medicine and flight engineering.
This case is a lesson for all new students and their parents in the coming days. If I may, please do not try to be a doctor or a pilot just because your parents, friends, relatives etc say so. Not only you are putting someone else' lives in risk, you are putting your own life in risk. Choose medical and pilot professions only if you know and the ones concerned fully know that you are capable of being in those professions. There are far more other professions for everyone in this world where you can thrive and have an enjoyable life.
This is also a reality-check for those ghushiyas in Nepal who promote ghushkhoris. Those sons whose parents have access to high level folks in our ministries have been long enjoying the perks of going to colleges under full bright scholarships. I myself had been a victim of these frauds and my own brother had to opt for a different degree because he missed being a dentist because someone lese with lesser grade was given the scholarship. It still hurts me and am sure it hurts my elder brother when he remembers it.
