Why do we Nepalese know so much of Indian language, but don't even know a word in Chinese. We must be a racist, much more than Americans! Both are our equal neighbors, so we need to educate our newer generation with both language, so they can be a better diplomat in future. This trend should be started from elementary school, in which the school need to keep both Chinese and Indian language class beside Nepali in the curriculum. This will help the kids as they grow to compete with the kids in neighboring countries. Let us make this an educational campaign in Nepal!

Chinese is a great language, having the ability to speak Mandarin, Hindi I feel awkward when Chinese people look with awe as I communicate with them, while for Hindi language I have to tell them that I am actually from Nepal. I think our Southern affinity is higher in all aspect and hence all the concerns and grieviences. I for one will also reccomend Chinese language learning, the closeness that comes with it for our Northern neighbours is awesome.

Cause we're slave to trashy Bollywood movies, fashion and beauty pageant. We think slant eyes are inferior, we don't care about Zhang Yimou yet we know the grotesque and the most useless name like Mithun Chaak-Ra-Puti, we have never tasted Shark Fin soup but we are OK with the fart like smelly Hajmola (or Shit like looking Chawanparas), we barely see any image of Shanghai but we see Delhi on screen everyday, we do not know who is Chinese president but we dig to find who is the prime minister of Karanataka. That's why..................

We love Chinese Language: Nepal StudentsTelegraph Nepal
The Annapurna Post daily dated September 29, 2010, quotes the Chinese Embassy source as saying that the number of students learning Chinese Language at various schools and colleges has reached the figure of ten thousand. "Currently, there are more than 60 Chinese volunteers teaching Chinese language at various schools throughout the country", the Annapurna Post daily reports. "Rapid economic growth of China and the popularity of the Chinese language across the globe too may have encouraged the Nepalese students to learn the Chinese language", report adds. Addressing a program in the capital Tuesday 27 September, 2010, Ambassador Qui Guohang expressed his happiness stating that with each passing days Nepal-China relations at the peoples' level is increasing by leaps and bounds. "We are very happy that the Nepalese have begun learning Chinese language to better understand Chinese tradition, culture and development", also said the Ambassador. It is also reported that the Chinese government has increased the number of Scholarship quota for Nepalese students who wish to learn Chinese language in China. Subtle penetration. However, reports coming from New Delhi have it that the increased Chinese presence along the Indo-Nepal border is beginning to provide high anxiety moments to the Indian security agencies. "At least a dozen Chinese learning centers hugging UP, Bihar and Uttarakhand have sprouted mainly in Butwal, Lumbini, Nepalganj, Banepa, Sankhu Sabha, Pokhra, Birat Nagar, Morang, Sunsari, Chitwan and Virathamod, even as a number of budding Nepal- China Friendship Associations (NECHA) also join in the league adding to their worries" Indian media reports. Yet another unwanted headache for New Delhi. However, the fact is also that even a kindergarten kid in Nepal understands Hindi language. The Idiot box advantage. In addition, Hindi films are very popular among the future "heroes and builders of Nepal".
