Dear Friend,
Imagine
a school made of adobe (mud brick) and bamboos...that takes young
people to the path of truth and non-violence...teaches them dignity of
labor...say that it is OK to work with soil and become a farmer, that
teaches them that one always has enough to give away to someone more
needier...that takes them back to the nature...that reminds them they
are special and valued.
A
school that says that good education doesn't have to be expensive... a
school that symbolizes community cooperation...that symbolizes
sacrifice one generation makes for another.

School in Chapagaun is a not-for-profit school run by the community. It
provides quality education of a private school at the cost of
government school. Those who can’t pay study for free. It was started
by young people when they were in 18/19 years old. All of them have now
completed their Masters degree but they have sacrificed their
potentially high paid career to run this model school in their
community.
Sarvodaya
with your support can help this school grow and meet its mission and
make this a model that other communities can replicate across Nepal.
