First and foremost I, on behalf of Nepal and its people like to sincerely thank the US Department of State (DOS), Tufts University Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, US NGO Karnuna Centre for Peace Building and Nepali NGO Institute for Peace, Conflict Management and Development (ICPD) for steering the leaders into the right track. This route not only makes sense in terms of convincing our so called leaders about democracy but also demonstrate them how it is executed. Seeing is believing --- I do strongly believe this journey will definitely let our leaders edify strategies on how to “not just screech for democracy but how to sustain it once it’s acquired”….

The other issue (which is possible that our leaders would be shocked as “cultural shock”) is the corruption…the same leaders who escorted their ways from election (or even by terrorizing the public) to get into the designations, will totally understand that whatever they did in the past was wide of the mark and that we are preety optimistic that they learn once again “ ghus dinya ra ghus linya saabai desh ka satru hun”……

When analyzing the other part of the coin, this is a big whack to Nepali leaders and the government. It undoubtedly states how frail we are that we call for someone to educate us on how to scratch the constitution. The question now arises: who were leading our nation in the past? Leaders who never did what they say………and we poor people always kept on demanding stuffs which was out of their understanding…….Poor leaders………….
It would have been a whole different story had the fresh graduates from political sciences came to attend the 'Boston negotiation and state building program seminar” but they are the same leaders who lead us and also protected our nation’s sovereignty in the past. Clearly we were in not-so-safe hands….lets pray this journey will make them mature enough to rule the country so that we can live our life to the fullest and also be “Proud Citizens of Nepal”…………….
