I don't understand this... the 25% of India's population with the highest IQ's is greater than the total population of the United States, and still what have they invented in past 60 years (60 years considering the British colonization). Have they even created/developed anything useful/popular as train, aviation, computers, Internet, atom bomb, TV, kitchen gadgets, motors, etc. They have contributed, that much I understand, but what have they actually invented? What makes them smarter than others? Higher IQ's? Higher IQ's don't always mean you are smart, it means you watch too much CNN. I don't understand why they are considered so smart yet it is the college dropout Bill Gates who eats the cake? If they are so smart, why don't they come up with something of their own?

Related Material A recent study at the University of Pennsylvania concluded what most of us already suspected: Hard work has more to do with performance than being naturally gifted. Photo by billaday. The next time you're itching to take a shortcut, it might be worth it to put in some extra time and effort for a better product. Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania measured a group of adolescent students. Using a variety of methods including self-reports, teacher reports, parent reports, they measured the self-discipline of the students in conjunction with their academic performance. Students who were more self-disciplined and were able to delay gratification performed better than their peers who had higher IQs. Highly self-disciplined adolescents outperformed their more impulsive peers on every academic-performance variable, including report-card grades, standardized achievement-test scores, admission to a competitive high school, and attendance. Self-disciple measured in the fall predicted more variance in each of these outcomes than did IQ, and unlike IQ, self-discipline predicted gains in academic performance over the school year.
It seems that there really is no gain without no pain.

LinQ, i am sorry but we must accept the acknowledgment mentioned above. Do more research. Probably, i will suggest you to look for India's development in science and technology.
P.S. I am not an Indian Fan.

Raju, I am afraid we don't have to drink the koolaid just because it is mentioned in the video. I did my quick research, I found nothing on Indian invention, hence the above post. They have not developed anything individually.

15 years ago same Americans used to label India as a third world country. You talked about college dropped out Gates eating a cake, But do you care how many Indians support him to bake this cake? The whole idea of video is not to spawn a refreshing koolaid out of Indians accomplishment rather it is to acquaint morons like us with some factual data.
