I wonder how you got your Green Card, if you have to ask this simple(and irrelevant) question here in sajha. I would suggest you to research a bit on the appropriate govt sites.  Good luck

Like jhapali said, u would get much more information than any person here in sajha would provide if you go to:

http://www.x.com/visas/visitor/sponsordocs.html

or google it.

Seriously, you cannot ask questions if you have a green card. People
start wondering how you got it. I don't know what kind of bank balance
you need to show, I have no clue about the process. But some people
here need to loosen up. He is asking a valid question. What is irrelevant? Does Sajha state anywhere that you cannot ask so and so questions because it is irrelevant to this forum? Finding answers to questions like this in the government site is very hard. They don't tell you the numbers. If you know, tell him or don't, its up to you. You are coming off as a bitter person.

Thanks for
answering my question. I don’t understand why some of you  have to be so arrogant answering to a simple
question. Does Sajha say anywhere you can not ask a simple question? How can I know
it’s relevant or not? The question which is not relevant to you,  can be relevant to others. I asked a simple
question and expected simple answer.  If
you wonder how I got green card, i can say the same, you can check how you can get green card at http://www.uscis.gov. I thought
we could get ideas here. the question which is very simple,  might be very tough one for somebody else. don't be so arrogant my friend?
