You can't invite in google wave. You can add people to invitation list and they will be notified whenever google decides to invite the new batch.  Beside, its not as fun as being hyped in media.  

Google wave is overhyped that's for sure. It organizes things a little better but nothing breathtaking or off the hook. I think they are trying to copy some facebook functionality with the facebook style userimage and postings.

google wave is still in its infant stage, it is hyped, I dont think i will have friends, co workers who i can collaborate with. but still, it would be fun to have an invite.

For those who want it real bad, there are now websites, and you can get into twitters.

The best way was to signup for developer sandbox. I don't know if its too late for signing up for sandbox account, but here is the link https://services.google.com/fb/forms/wavesignupfordev/. Everyone using sandbox has access to google wave beta preview. Beside, sandbox account will allow you to create bug and notify developer team which makes you valuable in times if they release a new product. I have my sandbox account since July 2009. I am surprised that none of you have heard about it before or tried it. 

I received google wave invitation today, but i dont see anything that charming. It seems just a hype as people mentioned above, or I have not discovered all the features yet? :(

It seems I can 'add' upto 8 persons to invitation list (it does not send direct invitation, goes through google). If you guys still interested, I can add your email (from above) for the inviataion list.
