If you are already here visiting than you probably already know a lot about the band, so we won't waste your time with a boring and long bio.  Here's the reader's digest version:

Ayurveda means "the science or knowledge of life" in sanskrit.  It's not only our name, but also at the core of our message.  We are a collection of people from all over the place.  Diwas is from Nepal, Shikhar is first generation Nepali-American from Maine, Dan is from a combo of Massachusettes and New York (conflict of interest? he's a Red Sox fan), Mike is from upstate New York, and I (Tom) am from way out west in Arizona, where wild fires and religious zealotry come from.  We all met in Ithaca, NY where we currently live.  All of us, with the exception of Mike, went to Ithaca College - two of us graduated.

So there you go - the basics and shit. 

If for any reason you'd like to know more about us, just send us a message!  We love (most) people.  And we love to hear feedback, or just a howdy doody.
