Hi Guys, The Cabinet in Nepal is taking full shape as the three coalition parties are all set to make three deputy primeministers. Isn' that the waste of resources and money to appoint three deputy PM in the country like Nepal just to fulfill the egos and lust of power of some leaders? I haven't seen any country in the world having three deputy PM. But, it is not new to the country like Nepal who used to have the minister without portfolio. Isn't it like the proverb "Jun jogi ayepani kan chireko"?
What do u guys think, do we really need them.

This shows:
1. Nepalese politicians are shameless.
2. They are greedy
3. They are power hungry
4. They are after name recognition
5. They are bunch of hoodlums
6. They are laughing stock in world political arena
7. They are not in polititics to serve the country or the people, but serve themselves.
8. They are crooks
9. They are corrupt
Please feel free to add more ..........

Let me add ...
Nepali politicians are our mirror. They are true reflection of what we are. They are us. But I don't feel as ashamed as they are the ones who are IN NEPAL and not an escapist like me who has left the country for good future.

We can say whatever we can, but quite honestly one can only curse them if one has the guts to stay in Nepal, put ur career and future in the abroad aside, and then say whatever u want. If they aren't doing it right one has to try and correct it.
I m sure I m not the only one and there are many more, who can't leave their stable career in US, Aus, UK or so on and go to Nepal in a totally uncertain poilitical- economical situation. I am not ashamed to call myself escapist. I am honest to admit it. But I have to think twice before saying the politicians are corrupt, aholes, and else. Coz they are there, I am not.

It's good that we've three deputy prime ministers. See what it means: every nepali's probability of becoming a deputy prime minister has increased three-fold. Isn't that a great progress!!

Well we need three deputy prime ministers for sure... if we did not need three deputy prime ministers, why would we have three DPMs ;)
we need 3 DPMs otherwise, nobody would agree to join the Govt, Baburam Bhattarai would go and get his own Maoist party, and other deputies, well, they just want to keep an eye on Prachanda, and hold some higher posts...so, of course we need 3 DPMs...and they earn more, get 2 salaries and cover more area to make their dashain even more enjoyable :p
cheers to the 3 DPMs.....damn ph(f)ool ministers....
ciao

fyi, not sure when the decision changed but it seems they have now decided to have only one Deputy PM and so only Bamdev is now made Deputy PM and Home Minister. Pretty sure Baburam is not happy about that but it seems we will only have one. Good for us. Plus it seems Government has now decided to revoke a provision that allows the ministers to get perks and allowances during foreign trips.
