आजवाट चीनमा ओलम्पीक खेल शुरु भएको छ । कतै नहुनेपो हो कि भन्ने आशंका चिर्दै बेइजिङ्गमा भब्य समारोहकाविच ओलम्पीकको उद्घाटन भएको छ । थोरै खेलाडि धेरे घुमन्ते बोकेर नेपालपनि वेइजिङ्ग ओलम्पीकमा सहभागि भएको छ । विवादका विच २८ जनाको लामो लर्कोका साथ चीनमा आयोजीत ओलम्पीक प्रतियोगितामा सहभागि हुन गएका नेपाली टोलिहरुमध्ये पदकको आशा गरिएका भनेका तेक्वान्दोका खेलाडि दिपक विष्टवाट मात्र हो । कडा परिश्रम र लगनशिलताका साथ अगाडि बढेका उनी प्रतिष्पर्धावाट ओलम्पीकका लागि चयन भएकाले पनि उनले नेपालको नाममा यो पाली पदक भित्र्याउने धेरैको आशा र भरोसा समेत रहेको छ । एसियास्तरिय छनौट प्रतियोगितामा सहभागि भएर उनी ओलम्पीकको छनौटमा परेका हुन ।

Guys Debu Thapa for Judo was mentioned in nepal news but in the Judo page in NBC with all the Athelete Nepal is not mentioned and so No Debu thapa???? I wonder whats goin on...........

Debu Thapa is a slim medal hope for Nepal as she won the silver medal in 10th South Asian games....
I hope Nepal will th name in Medal tally this year....

From what I have heard, Deepak Bista is the only Nepali athlete who is squarely in competition.  Others are all in wildcard spots.  Maybe that is why you did not see their names.

Please post if anybody here know if and when we can see Deepak Bista in Olympic action.

If you really want to go counter against india, you should study Indian History. Again, i have no doubt in my you next comment would be, "tai padd na indian history saale, f-bomb india, blah blah." According to the profile, Dipak Bista is 5'7" and 180 lbs. The height and weight combination doesn't look impressive for an Olympian. Good luck to him, though.
