काठमाडौँ। नेकपा एमालेका महासचिव झलनाथ खनालले सहमतिका आधारमा राष्ट्रिय सरकार गठन हुनुपर्नेमा जोड दिनुभएको छ। शान्ति प्रक्रियालाई निरन्तरता दिन र नयाँ सरकार गठन गर्न सहमति एक मात्र बाटो भएको उहाँको भनाइ छ। एमाले केन्द्रीय महिला विभागले गरेको दुईदिने राष्ट्रिय महिला कार्यकर्ता प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमको उदघाटन गर्दै महासचिव नेपालले यस्तो बताउनुभएको हो। उहाँले सरकारको अगुवाइ गर्ने जिम्मा माओवादीले पाएको उल्लेख गर्दै अहिलेको अवस्थामा सबै दल मिलेर अघि बढनुपर्ने बताउनुभयो। माओवादीलाई एक्ल्याउन नहुने बताउँदै उहाँले वाम दलबीचको सहमति र एकता आवश्यक भएको टिप्पणीसमेत गर्नुभयो। महासचिव खनालले उपराष्ट्रपति झाले हिन्दी भाषामा सपथ लिएकोमा भर्त्सना गर्दै उपराष्ट्रपतिले पार्टी, भाषा, वर्ग र क्षेत्रभन्दा माथि उठेर सिंगो नेपालको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्नसक्नुपर्नेमा जोड दिनुभयो। उता नेकपा एमाले केन्द्रीय सल्लाहकार कमिटीले उपराष्ट्रपति परमानन्द झाको राजीनामा माग गरेको छ। झाले उपराष्ट्रपति जस्तो पदको सपथ लिने बेलामा हिन्दी भाषाको प्रयोग गरी मुलुकको राष्ट्रिय एकता, सार्वभौमिकता, अखण्डता, नेपाली जनताको राष्ट्रिय भावना र मुलुककै अस्मितामाथि गम्भीर चोट पुर्‍याउने काम भएको ठहर सल्लाहकार कमिटीले गरेको छ। यस्तो व्यक्तिबाट राष्ट्रिय एकता, सार्वभौमिकता र अखण्डताको संरक्षण तथा मुलुकको अभिभावकत्व हुन नसक्ने ठहर भएको भन्दै उपराष्ट्रपति पदबाट तुरुन्त राजीनामा दिन एमाले सल्लाहकार कमिटीले माग गरेको हो। यसैबीच उपराष्ट्रपति परमानन्द झाले अन्तरिम संविधानविपरीत हिन्दी भाषामा सपथ खाएको भन्दै अधिवक्ता बालकृष्ण न्यौपानेले सर्वोच्च अदालतमा दायर गर्नुभएको रिटमाथि प्रारम्भिक सुनुवाइ सुरु भएको छ। सर्वोच्च अदालतका न्यायाधीश दामोदरप्रसाद शर्माको एकल इजलासमा मुद्दाको सुनुवाइ चलिरहेको स्रोतले बताएकोछ। अधिवक्ता न्यौपानेले संविधानअनुसार उपराष्ट्रपति झालाई नेपाली भाषामा फेरि सपथ गराउन र उपराष्ट्रपतिका रुपमा काम नगर्न र नगराउन आदेश माग गर्दै रिट दायर गर्नुभएको थियो। नेपालको अन्तरिम संविधान २०६३मा सरकारको कामकाजको भाषा नेपाली हुने स्पष्ट जनाइएको अवस्थामा हिन्दी भाषामा सपथ खाने कार्य संविधानविपरीत भएको रिटमा उल्लेख गरिएको छ।

But in any case, any politicial (whether corrupt or not) leader is better than those terrorists. I would rather survive and live in poverty than die at the hands of those terrorists. I believe Maoists got what they deserved. They thought they could sideline everyone and run the country, didn't they? Now, they know how much power they have. Had they given the presidency to UML, they would have been able to have a dignified position now. Alas! Now they are crying to UML for support and a politics of consensus. Where did that feeling go when they decided to go alone by nominating Rajaram for presidency?

Jawala, I am not defending UML's decision to vote for that Jha, Just I appreciate that at least 'Advisory committee' regreted on VP. And what other so called patriotic party doing? How about the position on 'Bharatiya bistarabad'?

And I am not Cadre of any political party. I dont defend to any party and I dont curse to any party for just not voting any particular candidate. But you did full support of Maoists (they are not true followers of Maoism though) whatever they do. Just my request to you try to be realistic and comment critically if you think yourself as a good analyzer.

he is also from Terai. As per them, they could not support candidates from Terai for both the posts.

----- The controversy was triggered not because Chares Jha was elected to the post of Veep but because he took oath in Hindi language.

----- Chares Jha is just the puppet of MJF. He did take oath in Hindi, not on his own concience, but on the discretion of his masters. You might have been reading the news, how Terai based parties have thrown their weights to Chares Jha.
