Guys...Does receiving a receipt number from USCIS means that I am selected for the H1 visa and will get the visa or this is something they will send to all the people who filed for H1. I got my receipt notice this week. Mine is Bachelors/Regular/California. Comments Appreciated.

Getting the receipt confirms that your case has been selected in H1 lottery for normal processing. If u input your receipt number or case number in uscis.gov website, you can check the update on your case.Currently,it should be saying 'received and pending...'.Once your case gets approved,u will get the H1.However, hope for the best and plan for the worst, rejection chances are below 10 percent once you are selected in lottery.Good luck!
