Can anyone give me suggestions about finding jobs in Biology/Molecular or Biochemistry, except teaching in high school or enrolling in a PhD Program. Your advise will mean a lot. American Dreamer

Besha,Firstof, what is your degree in and is it a Bachelors or Masters??? Do you need sponsorship later onif you are on OPT right now??? Because these things matter quite a lot while applying for jobs. Having said that, the 2 most common ways to get jobs for fresh college grads (esp. Bio Majors )is:1. networking (if you know someone who is hiring)2. going through RecruitersThere are surely many Scientific Recruiters in your area; look for them. If yo don't knowthen, google "Scientific Recruiters" and locate them in your area. Some of the most popularScientific Recruiters are:Kelly ScientificAerotek ScientificK Force ScienceOn Assignment Lab SupportAdecco TechnicalsScience Professionals (or something like this)Man Power Professionalsand some more. Set up an appointment with the recruiter-don't just send you resume online-go andmeet them. It will make a difference, believe me. They will go over your resume, ask you somequestions, and get detailed info on your background, education, experience, and skills. So, go and meet them. And finally, just wait for interviews!Good Luck to you. Which city and State are you located in?????

hi,
i will suggest you to graduate on december instead of august this year because it is bad time to graduate if you want to apply for h1b. i did also ms in molecular genetics and biochemistry and currently i am working in the same field. if you need more suggestion you can send me an email with your information. i will be glad to suggest you more detail how to find the job. i will let you know if they need some more research tech in my place.
good luck to find the job
