frens i think if maiost get absolute majority congress,uml,india,US all will  turn towards Gyan Bahadur and he might use this to safeguard his position, moreover it will be a great show to see how the maiost handle nepal army.........

AGREE, I think royalists would be happy with this outcome. Like you said, US and westerners including NC and UML are left with no option but to shake hand with the king and NA. NA will never accept supremacy of Maoists irrespective of  outcome of CA election.

 

Man, its really upsetting for your guys to think this way. First, we need to wait and see what the Maoist plans are? Lets say, when Maoist come into power, they might start developing cities other than kathmandu and pokhara and start creating more schools, paying good salaries to all government worker, START MAKING RICH BUSINESS MAN and others pay TAXES(a resource that makes the country richer). Make everyone respect the LAWS and REGULATIONS, create harsh penatlies for VIOLATORS. What if PRACHANDA starts building new Hydro Electric Projects in the  rivers that India thinks its theirs. We NEED a leader that can stand against the INDIANS and others. WE(nepal) have great POTENTIAL in our OWN country. We need to decrease our NEEDS that depend upon INDIA or CHINA.

Even Miost has majority in direct system - it seems that results of PR will be diverse, Miost can gain 40-45% maximum and without help of other parties it will not able to make constitution, which requires 75% votes in CA.

just a hypothetical question, what happens if the king doesnot vacate narayanhiti even after the CA sitting declares nepal a republic??? will NA use force if the maiost ask them to ????

dude i really wish it goes the way u think.. but i am having hard time convincing myself on those who never followed any laws, those wid the most law violators grp YCl, those who never respected basic human rights, always believed in violence(which they tried to end by joining mainstream politics) will make ppl follw the laws, impose proper tax system, lead a deomcratic country ? well this is the start of a new year so lets take this as a start of an era of mutual understanding, socio economic development, and national power..may our country never go back to the mayhem and bloodshed again..may the lord give maobadis sadbudhi to love the country and its mato whick our so called ex gr8 leaders and present fckface loosers failed to do..
