So are you guys getting ready to hit the gym or getting into some kind of workout schedule to get into shape for summer ? In my case, I have abstained from proper exercise for almost 4 months and I am thinking of loosing the unsightle flabs from my abs area and also from other parts of the body. So is there any fitness guru or someone who has some knowledge on how I should go about getting my self loose that extra inches ?

crunches and more crunches...Eat 5 meals a day (small ones) and stick to the stairs everywhere you go (unless you live in some high rise). Also, enrol yourself inot a gym now as once srping hits, demand peaks and it'd be a lil more expensive as compared to now...I've seen the price at my local gym drop to $130/year. It was $250 last summer. Damn. Once summer hits, post the pics of your abs here on sajha for the ladies to drool at, aight??

Hi there Samsara Bro, thanks for your advice. I appreciate it. I will follow your advice on eating and doing crunches. But I think I am too poor to invest my money in Gym so I am gonna do some personal research on the web and hopefully from the advice which I will be getting from sajha members , will help me in achieving the personal target.
I am not asking for much, I just want to my abs and other muscles to be more defined and ya I will be posting my current body photo later.
In the mean time, I do hope to hear from sajha bro and sisters.
Regards,
Rai

Hey don't forget to cut down alcohol...it is the main thing.....it wouldn't matter if you do crunching abs exercise and then had 2 pints of Ale or whatever. If you quit alcohol and workout hard, you will atart seeing results within 3 weeks.

HAHAHA..get into shape FOR summer? i know what you did last summer i_nepali bro! HAHAHA...what you up to this time around? with your killer abs? who do you want to kill? :P okay first thing first. if you are craving for a dashing six packs, then hold your thought on! coz it's not only about exercise and hard work that leads to the final cut, but it has lot to do with your genes, something which you do NOT have control over. some of my friends have been working like dogs for the last few years, and they don't have a perfect six pack like i do HAHAHAHAHA....(ok ok, that was a joke) so here's what i do and it's been doing wonders to my abs (minus the six packs ni pheri :P) 1) a goo cardio exercise---anything that makes your heart race like crazy :P, i am into tennis these days...but anything, anything will do. i used to run on treadmill (for 15 minutes) but it started to become boring. 2) crunches: vertical leg, captain's chair, ball crunch, bicycle exercise, (1 set each) 3) cardio (in case of treadmill, another 10 minutes with elevation) 4) another set of crunches 5) cardio (last 7-8 minutes) 6) final set of the crunches That's just for the bloody abs.. then do weight training to tone up your fat and muscles last but not the least, a good healthy low-calorie, low-fat diet : write down your daily calorie consumption for a week and see how it isgoing. if your intake is more than 1500, you're in trouble! make sure you don't exceed 1500-1600 calories...write down the name and the weight of your food and the respective calories. it's a good practice to keep. helps you know, where you're going..
hope it helps

Hi Alson, Mettalica,Loote, Poon, Samasara, Thank you for your advice and inputs. I have already embarked on a personal goal to achieve a great body for summer for about two weeks now and I have uploaded a photo of me,below , before I started with a out work out schedule. Take note: I am not here to show off but rather to encourage, motivate and also learn and share with people who are in the same boat as me. Regards Rai
