Our country is really in danger and we all agree on that fact.everything that has been happening recently has led to this conclusion.Life is getting tough and the situation is getting worse each day,and the worst part is we are far away and just,we read, write and talk about it.What is the exact thing we as an educated people of our country can do and help our society in any possible way. This is really a wake up call for all of us,Nobody is going to help us if we are not going to help ourselves. Its our country and we all were raised there,we all are concerned about this but being concerned and really making a difference are two different things. So let us come up with something that might help our country.

And right here is the problem,we think where to start from, cause there is a lot of mess and it needs to be cleaned up,and we all are aware of this fact but still we are unable to do anything. Why is this happening?everybody wants to help but nobody knows where to start from.

So through this,I want to urge all of you to come out with something and help us make a difference. It is never too late and doing good is always appreciated. So nepali ko chora chori haru lets do something no matter what to bring a ray of hope to our motherland.I also want to be a part of it,and I guess you also want to be a part of it.

SO LETS COME UP WITH SOMETHING.

WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY.JAI NEPAL

Namaste! Our mothers have told us that "Cleanliness is next to Godliness". Having said
that it is heartbreaking to see the present condition in KTM. Don't be surprised if
God has decided to migrate somewhere, maybe to the US. Your country is in danger of
an epidemic outbreak! Nothing can be so hazardous to health than to have tons of
rubbish strewn along public roads especially in Thamel. That's like plastering mud on
your own face and showing it to your visitor. Utterly disgraceful! Tourists will
think twice about a return trip and by word-of-mouth discourage others from visiting
Nepal. This will in the long term affect the country's dying economy. So, if you
really want to do something...let's start by CLEANING UP OUR MOTHERLAND! Yes, I'm
dead serious about that. And if you cannot help to organise this simple and
achievable community service, than again you would have enforced the fact that its
all talk and no action.
Action plan is: get in touch with friends and family back home; get a group of
youths as volunteers; fix a date; locate an area; inform the Municipal office and
get them to supply a 1 ton disposal container; get everybody to buy/bring their
own brooms, gloves, rubbish bags, shovels etc. Display posters everywhere informing
the public about the planned 'CLEAN UP NEPAL'. And on that date, JUST DO IT!
Guaranteed to be published in the local newspaper and over TV! Shame on the govt.
Wanna take the challenge, bro?

Finish your studies, go back to your home and never return. Live there, work there, abide by the laws, and you have contributed your part.

. Bad Luck of our country.

These are the same people who are united for Prasant making him Indian Idol. Everyone can see the response on Prasant's thread.

But when it come to our county, we hardly get any responses from these people.

I live in kathmandu and I love my country. SHAME ON YOU NEPALESE staying aboard who just do talking on sajha.com

Note: This does not apply for all Nepalese living abroad. This is for those Nepalese who does all those crapy talk on sajha.com

Namaste! Well, if none of you like the idea of 'CLEANING UP NEPAL'... perhaps you would like to do something for
the blind people who thankfully cannot see the rubbish around them. For your info, I'm organising a function for 115
blind people who are poor and live in the remote areas. Arrangements are being made to bring them down to KTM
and during the week between Nov. 3-11 (Tihar), we will be presenting each and every one of them with a foldable,
walking cane. They will also be served with a complementary meal.
Why I'm telling you this is because when I can organise (all through the internet) and do something for the poor and
needy, what's stopping you? After all its your country and you can talk in your own language with your own people.
You don't have to stop or finish your studies in order to help your 'brothers' back home. Have you heard the word
'multi-tasking'?
Try thinking "out of the box', my bros.

I like both your ideas Heartbeat.
Maybe the way to get started, to solve the big problems is to take baby steps.
We cannot make a new Nepal overnight. Maybe just living in a clean neighbourhood might
give some the taste of what it means to live "the new Nepal".
And with all these baby steps, surely but slowly, we will get us to a better place than
from were we started.

I agree with Mukurdhum in this matter ( though i am out of Nation ).

See it was really a crazy crap when I sajha full of support for Prashant ( i even didnt know for long who the hell is Prashant).... Nepali haru murkha haru...... to vote him, made sajha full of support for him..

One day Prashant will be a reknowned idol in indian world...like "so called" Manisha Koirala ....but what does it affect or matter to the nation ?? desh ko lagi bhanerah k nai gareko cha rah  by such people....who if wishes can donate some portion of their money to build schools or such....do they ever ???

it is true, when the things of Nation comes, we think our country will always remain the same.....it is our lack of *proper* education....

Namaste! When we start cleaning the desktop, bookshelves, almari, cooking utensils, our bodies...etc etc...we feel free,
there's freshness around us, we feel rejuvenated, we reduce the chances of falling sick, we are happy to bring others into
our homes/rooms. Likewise, if we can take those 'baby steps' to CLEAN UP NEPAL that will eventually lead to bigger
steps culminating in cleaning up the government! Let's clean what we can see, and what we cannot see will be automatically
cleaned up in the process. Physical cleaning up will lead to mental cleaning. Let's not waste our energy on glorifying
idols but let's do something more valuable, something needed by the people. When others see a group of youths doing
service for the community, instead of hanging around shouting slogans, the respect for that group will be ten folds more
than the shouters. Before you know, more and more youths will come forward to join in to clean the country. Why do you
think everyone's running away to some foreign land? It's because your own land has become a dumping ground.
Nobody in their sane mind wants to live next to a rubbish dumpsite. So, they use any viable reason to pack their bags
and leave for greener pastures. Tourism is Nepal's main source of income. But if people continue to pollute their own
backyards, Nepal will soon become another Euthopia. Why do you want to cut off the hand that feeds you? Forget about
the damned politicians. You are the (educated) leaders of tomorrow! You got to start somewhere. In order to prepare
for a grand festival, it starts with CLEANING UP your home, your schools, your offices, your playgrounds, your roads,
your temples, your hospitals, your cinemas, your shops...everything!
The amazing thing about cleaning up unwanted rubbish that you see, is without you realising it, your attitude, your
thoughts and opinions, your feelings...will also be cleaned up! And when that begins to happen, you will have a
NEW NEPAL to leave behind for the future generations to come. Step forward, bend down, pick up that rubbish
and throw it into the nearest bin. And you would have served your NATION!
