These words from Narayangopal's song fit exactly on Prashant Tamang. He is now in top 8, despite having no training on singing. Rest all of the contestors are trained for years, and have worked countless days and nights to reach to this destination. For example Parleen, who is just voted out in the last episode went for almost two years of training.

Frankly I see him as the weakest candidate among those left. He lacks that power in the voice which the singers should possess and which will come only after a fair amount of training.
Judges are not unfair with their comments. I believe they are right. We are just being cynical because he is a Nepali by origin and we expect good comments.

No doubt, he is a good singer but he doesn't deserve to be there. The whole voting system is unfair as a good singer can be voted out if he doesn't have enough support like that of Prashant. I am sure Prashant has more votes from his ethnic background than any other artists. If we were to count votes based on pure singing, he would have been out long time back.
Nevertheless, I like his singing. Good luck to Prashant!!!

if u don't like Prashant and u stop moving that mouth. Ya, he may not be like other rest singers, but if u compare with other from every aspect he is far more better. Can anybody reach to Indianidol final without any traning and all. Besides that, you need not judge the singing capacity if u r a pure nepali. We r voting for him and suporting him just for being Nepali and to avoid those unfair from judges. No dhotis should win and shouldn't be compared with Nepali hero prashant.

I think Prashant Tamang as a very modest, diligent kid. I like his personality. He seems to be a very likeable guy but I seriously doubt him as a contender for the show. I have been following him ever since his audition and I am impressed that he has made it this far. It is an achievement in itself..first for being an untrained singer and secondly, for being a Nepali by blood. In my opinion, there are other singers who are better than him singing wise strictly, of course. It would be a pleasant surprise if he won Indian Idol.

Prashant will easiy reach to last 5 because he have lots of votes which will go nowhere irrespiective of his performance. However, after that he may face difficulty because when later in the competition the Clash becomes between India and Nepal he is sure to lose on that.

The Show is Indian, but The idol will be Nepali hero Prashant.
