As far as I know I am the only Neplease in my university, and 90% of the students have no idea where Nepal is. I would be very much interested to meet fellow Neplease in Milwaukee. Do you know if there is any organization or Neplease community as such here in Milwaukee?

There is no organisation but Nepalese do gather during Dashain etc. There are some in UWM and MU. There is a Nepali colony in Shorewood.

There is good transportation in Milwaukee. Try to seside south of Highland such as Kilbourn. Highland is little unsafe. You must be joining Marquette. e-mail this guy he may help you.deo.pun@mu.edu

For the public transportation in Milwaukee, Visit www.ridemcts.com and on the left side of the homapage there is a scroll down menu, where you can choose the bus route number and they will so you the area map and the scehdule around which it provides service.

I heard that street number 60 to 20th, around the NORTH AVENUE is not a safe place to live. Good luck finding the apartment.
