One of my very good friend is getting married in Nepal in this summer. I want to attend his marriage but dont have enough money to visit nepal.

I need to have $1500 for the round trip.

If I stay for 2 months in Nepal, I can save two months' accomodation costs = $500.
Now I have to get the remaining $1000 from other means.

I have an idea in mind which can be helpful to both you and me.

If any person pays the remaining plane fair ( $1000), I will carry 2 full bags(30Kg each) and a laptop for his family to Nepal and will bring all items that he wants from his family ( 2 bags 30 kg each).

I am a trustworthy graduate student in USA.

We can easily get Dell ( Intel Core 2 Duo) laptops for around $800. Those branded laptops cost well above 1 Lakh ( $1500) in nepal. Therefore when you send a Laptop you will be saving around $700 and think how happy your relatives will be when they get the laptop set by you directly from America.

I will carry the laptop in my hand-carry bag. so no chance of damage.

If someone is interested in sending the laptop alone, I can do it for $300.

and two bags ( 30 kg each) both way for arond $700. You can send any electronic item in those bags as custom officers in Kathmandu airport hardly open the bags.

Bhariyaji,thesedays it is very hard to get profit in laptop...it is hard to sell even for Rs60000/...so if you plan to sell Laptop...just buy laptop of around $500...
