With four housefull successive parties within a week, I am wondering whether Dallas is emerging as the no. 1 place for Nepalese in the US in terms of entertainment instead of New York or Minneapolis. Or is it an endeavor of Dallas Nepalese to live up to the Dallas Theme - Think Big. Live Large.

I think Dallas does not have any source of entertainment. Therefore what you do.. Party.. only one source of entertainment !!!!

No Landmark, No place to visit.... No Beach...No Inner harbour...No Disneyland....No Universal studios.... No Outdoor..No Recreation .... No Scenic wonder...No Great Museums..... No Fun ... Hot weather... Dallas is dry iin term of entertainment. I think it is good for education , job and has reasonable living cost.

sean dai boulder's Nepalis are opportunist too. They suck... and there aren't very many jobs in boulder. Boulder is boring. you have to go to denver for anything fun, and even denver is a suck ass city.. you can finish the downtown by walking for 5 mins.... living in Co suck big time.. i hate mountains.,... AND over rated ski parks.. we nepali don't come to usa for mountains, we come for opportunities...
Dallas has more Nepalis because it can provide opportunity.. all we have in Boulder, Co is illetrate Dv winners; lost and confused...
oh... and yeah, boulder's Nepalis are hardly working in academic jobs... hell, even CU has less than 15 Nepalis... Boulder Nepalis have pleanty of time for back biting and leg pulling....

Mr. Californication, Cowboy is talking about the party place, he is not talking about the scene, montain, beaches and universal studios....if u really compare with the natural beauty with California, Nepal is heaven. I have been in California for 3 years and I moved from Dallas ofcourse, but I am really missing Dallas party environment. Ofcourse, good and bad people are everywhere. I also participated many programs here in California but all the Nepali here are sux..... so grow up=== guys don't try to pull the leg with the Nepali mentality.

I am astonished by the sour n pessimistic views expressed by a few users in this thread concerning Dallas. In my opinion u never tried to explore Dallas. e.g.
i) Did you ever go to Medieval Times n eat with raw hands?
ii) Did your ever go to the Restaurant in Reunion Tower with a partner?
iii) Did you ever go to Lonestar Park n bet on Smarty Jones?
iv) Did you ever go to Texas Motor Speedway and ride the shotgun?
v) Did you ever go to Six Flags n ride the Titan?
vi) Did you ever go to the stockyards n ride a wooden bull?
vii) Did you go to Dallas Aquarium n buy one for your living room?
viii) Did you ever go to Deep Ellum n make some new friends?
ix) Did you ever go to Northwest Highway n party all nite?
x) Did you ever go to Northpark mall n shop the brands?
Well literally, there are so many things to do in Dallas. But u wont see any if you quarantine yourself in a cube n lie in a purple couch. You gotta get out n reach. Dallas is awesome. I was in Dallas Alley earlier. Got a buggy ride. Awesome.

Interesting that you bring up Dallas as a party place. I go to school in Los Angeles, and was in the Cowboy town for a few days last week. Partied with cowgirls in Addison, and went to a rodeo in Fort Worth. Other than that, just hung around the city most of the time. Interesting place. Girls in Dallas were dressed in a more conservative fashion than the relatively slutty girls in La, and the city seemed to be less diverse than La. (no value judgement here, just an observation.)

I surmise either AAD or Rings Entertainment is going to host a party in the first week of February.
Addison is a nice place. Cool places to hang out are Duke's, Black Fin and Velvet Hookah. I strongly recommend Ritthe to hit those places.

U must be talking about Club Purgatory. It's between Downtown Dallas n Deep Ellum. It's a great place.
