The clash erupted following a minor dispute between the two student unions over the issue of a planned programme at the campus.

Talking to Nepalnews, NSU vice-president Pradip Poudel said the incident has proved that the Maoists are yet to abandon the politics of violence even after they agreed to join the politics of competition.
He also warned that the NSU would be compelled to take strong action if the Maoist students did not correct such activities.
Earlier, ANNISU-R clashed with UML-affiliated All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU) in Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus at Exhibition Road and Sanothimi Campus, Bhaktapur. nepalnews.com pb Nov 30 06
